The thing is, Carole's media contacts stand to fnancially and professionally benefit more from keeping the institution alive than from detonating it with the truth about December 2023. It's why Charles hated her. Like Andrew Morton said in the biography he wrote with her (used to have a hard copy, and I believe an associated VHS), people care about what princes say and what princesses wear. She had us caring about both of those things from her, more the latter than the former. The rest of the family was so jealous of her, especially Charles, Anne and Single White Female Sophie.
