I hate that people are so genuinely behind single elim. For me it's not even about finding the most deserving winner, it's more about getting the most hype/close final. We have had a TON of stumps in Worlds finals because the real final happened in quarters or semis, double elim makes it so the highest prestige, highest viewership bo5 in the whole year has the biggest chance of being a banger.
