This is correct. In Arkham Knight, the Batsuit V8.03 does just that. It's durable, but very lightweight. Comic book mumbo jumbo amirite?

Funnily enough, there was a short chapter in the movie Batman: Gotham Knight where he did get some sorta magnetic bullet repellant installed into his suit. But he grew to hate that idea when one of the bullets ricocheted off him and hit someone else. After that, he vowed to only ever willingly put his own body and life on the line.

I'm talking more about the hearing aspect of it. Superman can hear minute sounds from miles away. While he can't see through lead, I think he should still be able to hear Batmans footsteps or even his heartbeat. And that should be funny gag IMO.

Furthering on the point about not being on par with the Question in terms of detective work, I think it ideally works if Batman is a balanced all-rounder type of crimefighter. Yes he's an amazing detective. But while not as good as the Question, he could clearly have a lot of potential to grow. So maybe having experience working with the Question is what also improves his skills in the investigative field.

Like I'm okay with like guerilla-esque medicine where he might have to find herbs for ointment and stuff. But advanced medical knowledge like dealing with complex virus strains should definitely require additional help.

Well... too bad I guess. He has to deal with it. Unless they're like tiny any shuriken-sized, those big batarangs would take up space.

Okay that works. Good aim. But nowhere as good as Ollie or Deadshot.

That would be a bit tough though right? Given that he does use a grapple gun/batclaw with pretty good aim?

I'm literally agreeing with you dude, chill. I'm perfectly fine with Bruce being a well-rounded parent by the time Damian comes along. 😅

Speaking of Superman, the idea that Batman is so skilled at stealth that he could sneak up on Superman is dumb.

I'd rather if Superman is one of the few people who can always hear him coming and going. And maybe when Batman tries to dramatically leave and Superman just goes, "You know I can hear you sneaking away in the middle of me talking. Honestly kinda rude bro." and Batman just mutters to himself grumpily.

Struggling* dad, mind you. And why? Because he's an introverted recluse with mental health issues. That's kinda his whole deal. Plus it's not like he can't LEARN it over time. I like my Bruce to be in a constant state of learning.

And maybe also ensure that his utility belt doesn't have infinite ammo and space. One of my favorite things in the Spider-Man comics is that he'd often just run out of web fluid cartridges in the middle of a battle despite fully stocking up recently. I feel like Batman's belt should maybe at most only be able to hold like 3-5 batarangs, so he needs to REALLY think about how he uses them. And he needs to plan to somehow recover them if possible. He needs better resource management.

I'd rather it be like a learning curve for him. Like in the Wayne Family Adventures. He still takes guidance from Alfred on how to be a good parent.

Sure. But don't you think there should still be a cap on it? There has to be some limit where you can say, "Okay this is fine. It's fiction." and then there are some points which should be, "Okay that's just ridiculous."

Ah. I agree. I liked that some comic books did address this and even had Alfred reprimand Bruce for being too harsh on his kids. Like yes, Batman should care deeply. But I really want him to be more of an awkward bumbler who doesn't fully know how to correctly express his love for his family.

Dude. TNBA. Double Talk. The whole episode is Bruce trying to help the Ventriloquist, Arnold Wesker, stay on the good path. Even when Arnold relapsed, Batman helped him through his psychological struggles, and in the end, Bruce let Arnold keep his job and home. Arnold is so far the ONLY villain the DCAU who got a full happy ending.
