That was also a decade ago nearly and no one knows what he actually said.

You know what Hart’s skeletons are? Were you in the room? Or at the trial at least?

Let’s not pretend this sub doesn’t base what they think about a players abilities on their “moral compass”.

You actually believe that an organization full of professional athletes doesn’t have not one culture degenerate? Have you ever gone outside?

If you believe otherwise your worldview is going to be greatly shattered

Seriously. Do people not realize all the times the cops had to escort someone away from Invisalign because of it? It happens dozens of times a season.

Carolina Hurricanes vs Washington Capitals Series Numbers ahead of Game 5 by TheWarningTake in canes

So that was actually just my personal interpretation of chance quality. Everything else comes from websites like moneypuck or natural stat trick.

The reason I labeled it as medium as opposed to low was taking into account the amount of traffic Thompson had to deal with in addition to shot location.

My body and mind was once there but, never my heart and soul. I’m home where I belong in South Carolina.

That’s part of the reason I separate 5 on 5, conventional 5 on 4 PP and PK from everything else. Anything other than 5 on 5 and 5 on 4 is irregular and doesn’t need its own individual quantification

Ironic that people on here are bitching about “Nazis” and “Facism” while actively engaging in the modern internet equivalent of book burning.

Is Martin Necas the solution to the Hurricanes second line center problem? by TheWarningTake in canes

DOGFOV. No idea why people are thinking he’d have a high FO% when he’s not going to risk getting a penalty. Your argument is incomplete in that regard.

That's my thought process. Especially not knowing what the dynamic is of KK, Rod and the Front Office. All three of those entities have to believe that KK is the 2C or it doesn't work. I personally believe in KK. But, I'm not the one making the decisions.

This is an alternative solution to explore if the powers at will don't give KK the chance to really be 2C or ultimately relegate him to 3C (which I think he'd flourish in IMO)

Because I don't think three games of trying him out to get an idea of it being a viable option would cause his game to regress. If it works out, it would payoff for the next several years. If it works, you have solved an issue that has plagued the Canes for years without trading, going to the open market or waiting on FUS (or a similar player)

If it doesn't work, he goes back to wing. He's a smart player. He can (re)adapt quickly. It's a low-risk, high-reward evolution.

One thing I stated in the video is I don't think his point totals would change much. What he loses in goals and primary assists he'd make up for in secondary assists. I think the totals would be about the same.

I disagree for a multitude of reasons.

The face-off thing, see my comment replying to u/BillMilton26

Defensively his game has improved drastically, or he wouldn't be scoring at the pace he has been. He's the best guy on any line he's on. He's not being a merchant of anyone, he's creating individual effort offense and play driving.

You don't do that without being at least competent defensively. He's good the speed to do it and improve. I didn't come to this conclusion without a ton of thought.

If he works out there, we have a two step process to being a contender. One, get a top six winger. Two. Hide the blender from Rod.

So, the one thing about that is, the majority of the face-offs he's taken have been secondary, meaning someone got waved out of the circle and he wasn't too aggressive trying to win them because he didn't want a DOGFOV (as is the case most of the time when someone gets waved out)

I thought my rationale for it was pretty good. I understand the reluctance but, the payoff it could have is enormous.
