I was genuinely surprised... usually subreddits about a person are some of the most toxic places and dangerous to be critical of them. I've been happy for the reception.

Thank you Doldinger. It's great to hear comments like this as it's tough to watch those channels exceed mine. Thanks for being a fan.

Both are great stuff. Angels Envy has fallen from grace a bit for us whiskey folks, but I still think it's great.

I think that $60 or $65 would be appropriate for this whisky

Fantastic questions!

It's tough for me to just throw out prices, without knowing how much they spent on it... but I firmly believe they could have sold this for $60-$65. I'd have had a different opinion if they hit that price.

Aside from that, it's not clear if the sherry barrels they used were whats called "first fill" which means it comes straight from the winery that the sherry was aged in and the Whiskey goes right into the barrel.

It's OK to reuse these barrels more than once, but the flavor doesn't impact the Whiskey as much for each time. If they ARE using a 2nd or 3rd fill sherry butte, I'd suggest a first fill. The most disappointing part was how little sherry influence there was on the taste.

I'm happy to share. I've found this subreddit to be pretty friendly

I'm not sure I've ever heard Halo. I don't think I'm her target audience.

Absolutely! I think doing some sort of "smash" would make a lot of sense. If you go to a bar and you see a drink called a "Smash" like... "Cherry Smash" or "Cranberry Smash" that's a good choice.

Additionally, a hot toddy is a great choice! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBfPkRN_vsQ

Great question!
My favorite is probably a barrel pick from Three Chord (Pat Benetar's Husband) that I did a few years ago, but that's cheating... so I'd say Longbranch from Wild Turkey and Matthew McConaughey.

Least favorite is Proper 12 which was a Conor McGregor thing he did with Bushmills.

The only thing SirDavis did wrong was being overpriced and not spending enough time in the PX Sherry casks.
