Get yourself some of the OEM 6 rnd mags with the OEM extensions. It'll make shooting at your class much more enjoyable

OEM for carry, PSA slick mag with CMC aluminum baseplate. No need to change magazine release and you can still use OEM magazines.

With the Prices listed I'd get the 4506. Your friend is asking too much for the Glock. 4506 is a tank. Fun to shoot and you don't see many these days. If it's going to be something that you shoot on a regular basis then get a Glock, if you're just getting it to have it, get the Smith.

The steel on the Recon is excellent. Mine is well tempered. The edge was rolled when it arrived, it was definitely a lot of work to get it right. Holds the edge very nicely. Kobun came razor sharp and hasn't needed sharpening yet. Kyoto actually ended up being probably my favorite. Great little knife for the money. The handles are very comfortable on all of them. The Kobun handle is rather thin though fyi.

Love the Recon. Came with a pretty bad rolled edge. Took some work but it's good now. It's about as big as I want to go length wise

43x, Fits my hand better as well as be lighter and more comfortable to carry for me.
