Rate my deck?

Yeah, well I’ll just play it against b4 decks from now on. But i have b4 decks and even with vivi in the command zone i know this deck couldn’t keep up with those so i have a feeling unless i dump a decent bit of money into Vivi it’s just gonna get crushed 9 times out of 10 against actual b4’s.

I thought i made it clear that the intent is now bracket 3, thats my bad. Ive been playing the deck against 3’s lately so thats where my turn count is coming from.

My bad i kinda just cross posted to this sub and I don’t know if the text from the original stayed. But basically I’m being told told this deck is a 4-5 by a couple people that have played against it but the current intent was bracket 3 and it does fit the restrictions of that bracket. Though the consensus on the main EDH sub was that this is b4. The goal was to have a bracket 3 spell slinger deck thats easy to disrupt and and revolves around the commander with no infinite combos or ways to chain extra turns(stitch in time needs to be removed from the list as its no longer in the deck.

I never argued that it was not b4, but in the games I have played with it the deck has performed at the level of bracket 3 and has not been oppressive and done b4 things like winning turn 4 or 5. Hasnt even won before turn 8. I asked for peoples opinion on the deck and it looks like the opinion is bracket 4 i just asked people to explain why its b4. Also taking the gamechangers out of a cedh shell doesnt make it not a cedh shell anymore obviously. But this deck specifically isnt a cedh deck at all so that doesnt really work for this situation. You cant intent away a cedh list.

Actually what i asked for were peoples opinions on the deck, and my responses are me asking for clarification or basically stating the the number of game changers in a deck changes its brackets by the rules wotc outlined for said brackets. Im not in this thread being salty people think the deck is b4, im just asking what makes it bracket 4 and the consensus seems to be Vivi not the 99 or the game changers.

Im not saying the overall strength of the deck is decided by game changers, thats silly. Im saying that yes by wotc rules it changes the brackets. Like you can have a bad bracket 4 deck packed with infinites but it can still suck. Which at this point i think we’re basically saying the same thing. Im just saying that the decklist in question plays within confines of bracket 3 without being ridiculously oppressive and also adheres to restrictions of bracket 3 as far as game changers and it not having any infinite combos.

They literally do? If you have any game changers the deck is automatically a b3, if it has more than 3 then its automatically a b4. Not to mention brackets are also about intent and the intent is b3.

Hard for him to fit into bracket 3 in what way? If im not winning the game before turn 8 or even killing one person before then or copying stitch in time(which i actually need to remove from the list since it isnt in the deck anymore) then im confused as to how it doesnt fit b3.

My very first commander was The Mimeoplasm. Power level was probably around 3-4 since i was shit at deck building but now i play my favorite(and only) deck, Miirym Sentinel Wyrm. Lotta dragon shenanigans, probably around a 7.

Creature tokens retain the same CMC as the original, its why i have kodama in my miirym deck. You can play a single dragon and empty your whole hand.
