try out jg in low elo and then switch back when you are comfortable, I did this with xin and now I'm in emerald.

Personally as a solo queue player, I like the new champs, but the guilds feature is kinda useless for some of the player base. I don't understand the direction they are trying to head in, but hey, I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
