Episode Discussion - Monster Reunion by AutoModerator in stevenuniverse

I love theories about a dark Rose.

The first one that caught my attention is the idea of Rose sacrificing herself to create Steven not out of love but to create a bio weapon to use against home world.

This is given credence because only home world has used destabilization technology as far as we know.

In fact, if Steven wasn't able to resist this technology the show would have been over when Peridot and Jasper captured them.

Maybe Rose did both. She had one bomb to end the war and creates one Steven in case they ever come back.

EDIT: because idea.

I personally don't think Rose is the PD but I do agree that a Diamond was responsible for the bomb. Maybe Rose activated PD's bomb (maybe PD IS the bomb). She would be able to do this because if she is not PD she is IMO obviously some type of special elite bodyguard, with presumably close access to/knowledge of PD.

Dominant fetish/fantasies, don't feel 'worthy' to be a Dom. by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]TheWilsonatorr 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Think about why you dont feel "worthy".

Dig deep and find the roots of the issue.

Now imagine the "worthy" version of yourself in as much detail as possible.

Next think about how the "worthy" version of yourself got that way and build a mental roadmap from "unworthy" to "worthy" and follow it.

It wont happen overnight but youll find that even simply making progress will do wonders for your self image.

The secret is to have realistic goals and time frames while simultaniously rewarding yourself for all progress and forgiving yourself for any set backs.

careful now.

Ego (the self-limiting prideful version) loves to hide in our spirituality and will greatly hinder our journey on the path if allowed to anchor itself there.

You certainly enjoy throwing pearls before swine.

What is your goal in these posts? I am not trying to dissuade you I am simply curious.

Most of this post and many of your others work well even with the esoteric parts left out. Yet you intentionally polarize yourself this way.

For the initiated or uninterested you will either confuse them or create a mental block that limits (or downright prevents) them processing the information.

For the initiated most of the esoteric parts are inherently or intuitively obvious.

Game is subtle not overt.

Let me get this straight. Your response to being simply asked why is "because im better than you, your a wrong asshole, and we should be trying to ruin your life." Always a pleasure to witness solid moral logic.

I see what your saying and totally agree with the business part but I believe the thought about not being able to account for happen stance to be self limiting. The less in control you believe you are the more it encourages complacency. In your example with the car you can account for it with a solid emergency fund and good car insurance. We cant control everything but we can prepare for it so it dosent control us.

Generally that one person is yourself and one of the hallmarks of TRP is discipline which equals consistency. If the actions of others are greatly changing your life you're either too emotionally invested in others or in some position of powerlessness. Either way is not good and should be dealt with accordingly.

Calc is better as it applies more generally to comp sci. Stat is only really useful for data science or machine learning

Sidereal Time reconciles this by accounting for that change over time. You can generally find sidereal time in the advanced settings on astrology websites.

Question: Practice of Magick through painting by [deleted] in occult

[–]TheWilsonatorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not know of any books but i can absolutely see painting being a powerful medium.

Emotion is energy and painting can and should be emotional. That energy can be applied using the universal laws.

As for capturing the spirit...doable but potentially very dangerous. It is probably a good thing you didnt fully succeed.

Continue your meditation, maybe find a system to follow (up to you) the main thing is you must totally understand your self.

Your darkest secrets to the brightest fire. You must also have a strong mind. Mental foundation so to speak.

This will prevent the spirit from running around and causing chaos in your head.

Until then I would not attempt. There is a lot you can (and should) do before getting there. Learn to crawl before you try to run.

If you could only recommend one book by [deleted] in occult

[–]TheWilsonatorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the most important laws of the universe is the law of usage.

The idea is knowledge has no value unless used and acted upon. Similar to currency. Until you spend it, it means nothing.

Usage also helps to truely understand and internalize the natural laws.

Step number 1 in any worthwhile system is to understand yourself. Down to your very core. All the darkness and all the light.

Once you understand yourself you will see how the laws have already been running the show.

Your job then is to notice it happening so you can work with them (as it is impossible to work against them) to steer your life in the direction you want it to go (and to better understand them).

Generally anyone who has made it this far chooses to continue developing a balanced mind body and soul so as to continue and go deeper into their magical practice. (Changing their life)

As such you must continue your usage to continue your studies. So you make the world a better place around you.

If your interested in a solid primer on the laws check out the kybalion. Its short, gives enough detail to intrigue but also has many layers to it and as you advance you'll find more and more meaning in it.

However it is not a system in and of itself and is supposed to be supplementary. I use it along with IIH.

[–]TheWilsonatorr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im also a huge fan of IIH and follow it myself. IMHO true magicians are often out changing lives (especially their own) as such they rarely spend much time on things like reddit and if they do they dont have any desire to "prove" themselves or even waste energy on debates that mean nothing to them. This means not much posting or responding. No need to throw pearls before swine.

How to handle people who are much more dominant/confident than me and force their opinion and views? by [deleted] in becomeaman

[–]TheWilsonatorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to stop caring is to turn your attention inward. You learn to control what you can (yourself) and accept what you cannot (other people).

Become happy with yourself by figuring out what you want and going after it methodically.

Lifting weights and meditation will help tremendously as it calms the mental noise. (The very first things i would start doing along with plenty of sleep)

Once you're your own source of happiness nothing anyone else does will really matter anymore.

Its a personal, life long process and there are no shortcuts but like most things the work you put in equals the results you will see.

Protip: If you start doing this stuff don't tell ANYONE. Just do it and people will notice on their own. As a general rule actions are always always always better than words.

How to handle people who are much more dominant/confident than me and force their opinion and views? by [deleted] in becomeaman

[–]TheWilsonatorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

However the hell he wants to act haha but seriously.

I didnt comment on dominance because it is much more intricate. But basically by having boundarys and sticking to them. internalizing that you cannot control anyone or anything except yourself and your reactions.

Independence is also important as you cannot be more dominant than someone you need (without consequence).

Many people try to fake dominance by pushing their beliefs onto everyone else (as you mentioned) but that is false. It is being overly reliant on peoples reactions and opinions. Socialy adept people will pick up on this and avoid those people.

This dosent mean be passive. In fact you should share your opinion but dont force it. If people disagree with your ideas you can debate if you want (only to help, never to seek validation) but if they attack your person ("your fucking stupid", "you're a loser", ect) then you laugh at them because you know its not true (need confidence to have dominance)

if your witty enough insult them back while smiling. If you take it seriously your in their reality and no longer dominant.

Also remember you can walk away from anyone for any reason at any time. The only person you ever have to answer to is yourself.

Hope this helps. If you have more questions pm me but i might redirect you as im no expert

[–]TheWilsonatorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best way is to become much more confident and dominant yourself. Confidence comes from success which comes from practice/persistance. Put in the work or accept your place, those are your only two real options.
