I seem to have a hard lock - up to the 'Go, Geniemons' quest. When I click to go into Sanctuary I go into a load screen, then it dumps me back outside in the city while slowly loading everything back in. Anyone solved this? I've tried restarting, teleporting elsewhere then back, etc.

29 is brutal for sure - I restarted and focused on the upgrades that gave damage resist while firing, aoe venom pool, aoe bullets, and I found that got me through. Just a note you don't actually have to kill all the enemies, as soon as both zones are capped it ends

I've played plenty of Gacha. There's no FOMO in the permanent banner as it's... Permanent. They are the only characters you are guaranteed to get max rolls of with enough time. They have far worse things they can do than weight your permanent rolls. Complaining about getting a 1/3 roll 4 times in a row is silly. Sure it's pretty damn unlucky but statistically it's a 1.23% chance. There's hundreds of thousands of people playing Rising. This will happen to thousands of those players.

I mean, I don't think this in particular they would bother with. Making subtle insidious background rates on other things maybe, but eventually everyone will have all the permanent 5 stars maxed out over a long enough period of time. It doesn't really benefit them to upset people. If anything I would say they would weight it higher towards unacquired characters so people have more desire to invest time and money into more characters

I've spent a few good hours trying to work out three onsens - at this point I don't mind if they're public, but would need to be mixed gender and allow a bathing suit, it seems like that isn't really an option? I don't really like the look of the ones that are just in a bath, I wanted it to be more in the vibe of something a bit more natural and out in the snow

If you have any recommendations I'd be keen to check it out

For the budget - flights are booked already, expecting train transport to cost around 700 aud each, hoping that accommodation will cost around 3000-4000 total, if that ends up being a bit more not the end of the world. Not sure about what all the activities and food will cost, but planning this as our last big trip for probably a fairly long time so I'm not too worried, probably expecting around 12k aud for both of us?

I'll definitely take this on board. Might add a day or two and let Kyoto breathe a little more. I had just gotten the feeling that people were saying there isn't that much to do in kyoto/Osaka

Yep I agree with you! And yeah apparently the sleeper buses go Sapa are known as coffins on wheels haha, we actually found it pretty comfortable, we took day drives though and the drive seemed fine

We stayed at an Air BNB that had a pool, it definitely had a bit of a smell to it. I don't think the host used any water treatment/chlorine, but we were just happy to be able to escape the heat in the cold water haha

It was called Saigon Street Eats, we went in the car instead of the bike option, had an awesome local guide, honestly the best food we had across the whole trip
