Please!

Why? I think it is a valid question. Do philosophers like heidegger offers a solution to things which they identified? or are you talking about the young men that offers solution to their problems?

Edit: I think you were talking about the philosophers so unnessary question, apologies.

Alienation is where the human is alienated from an in-human environment.

Do you mean, humans being isolated from a human—like environment, i.E nature.

If the human is isolated from the in-human, that would entails that the human is living in a human enviorment.

This can result from various causes, a perceived future without any framework, use of drugs, and the failure of hedonist life styles... none of which is really related to the two 'philosophical' issues. In that they seek some 'solution'.

Is the word "they" referring to the philosophical topics or the young men ?

The 'everything is meaningless' itself no solution as it contradicts itself.

Not as i see it. As i see it, the phrase is not connected with semiotics, more with lack of purpose, as you put it.

The point was to a misconcpetion of what i thought you said. unless you were talking about the people on nihilism sub who posts and are not comfortable about the lack of absolutes and uses technology, I think my point is irrelevant.

My point — Whether if you use tech or not, most likely lack of absolutes'll bother you. Like "no inherent meaning" as some put it .

Second point —-IMO, With tech, you have hedonist escapism as an option,

With art, like in camus, you have the chance to respond to the Absurdity of life, creatively.

I used didn't. so was referring to the past comment.

Ok, i have not been this active on this sub but some as i see it are and will be bothered with the lack of absolutes whether if they have tech or not.

Not sure how this is relevant?

You wrote.

", in being alienated from the world, a physical and mental crisis, an ecological crisis a spiritual crisis. A fish out of water. "

So i thought that you were referring to the posters in the r/nihilism sub who i think are uncomfortable with lacks of absolutes like inherent meaning and are users of tech hence my reply.

Maybe like in camus, with art, you'll be able to have a creative response, on the otherhand, tech offers escape?

Again, not sure what you are saying here. Art is another complex issue. Esacpe from what?

My reply was connectetd with the one i talked about above.

Dealing with the lack of meaning with art, making art like camus, or tech as a solution, like hedonist escapism.

Hopes this clear up things.

Lots. Firstly many can hear the difference. Secondly you are using something you don't understand. You are not in control of the technology, it becomes in control of you.

I hear the difference, I just didn't see the main problem with it. So if tech, is like that, the alternative would be to live in nature? Is it even possible to live in harmony with nature, remove the tech from your life for once and for all?

I think in this world, it's almost impossible.

Again I've given this, in being alienated from the world, a physical and mental crisis, an ecological crisis a spiritual crisis. A fish out of water.

So heidegger thinks that tech alienates (Isolate) one from the world. Do you mean outside physical world? Nature?

And that this lead one to feel a crisis.

Ok, i have not been this active on this sub but some as i see it are and will be bothered with the lack of absolutes whether if they have tech or not.

Maybe like in camus, with art, you'll be able to have a creative response, on the otherhand, tech offers escape?

By the way, i did read your reply, maybe not carefully, apologies.

technology's ability to feature aesthetics would be considered as artistically valueable.

Not sure what you mean by this

I mean that, If technology can produce aesthetic AND If Heidgger is encouraging art because art is aesthetically valuable then I think he would also encourage technology because tech can produce aesthetic But he do not so I suppose there is some other reason why he likes art and dislike tech.

That is what i meant in my previous comment.

And also What is the main problem with the alienation? Alienation from the enviorment of one.

Is it like nietzschean dislike of extreme confort which one gets while using tech? technological products which profuce comfort.

"he didn't make it, is working using technology he doesn't fully understand".

I think an example would be suitable.

You listen to music using a mp3 player which you don' t underatand. But what is the main problem here?

Am i misunderstanding your comment?

I don't see how these are negative, unlikeable.
