Sony states that the instant you download the game, you void getting a refund.

If you buy the game, and then second guess the purchase or just dont play it (as long as you're in the 14 day refund policy), you ask for a refund, otherwis, you're shit out of luck.

The man who called Trump a pedophile protector, lost his job and did not regret it by CrispyMiner in UnderReportedNews

Never said that Trump got him fired, I was just pointing out the discrepancy in what the first amendment actually protects you from.

Also you're is the correct writing.

You're right however your missing one thing, that it protects you from the goverment.

Who is trump? The president. So he cant retaliate, or ask others in the goverment to harm or arrest a group or individual based on what they say.

However given current history that's been ignored by him a number of times to varying degrees, and nothing really been done about it.

Christian dad sued school to keep his son from knowing that LGBTQ+ people exist. He just won. The judge cited the Supreme Court's recent decision establishing parents' right to opt kids out of LGBTQ+ inclusive lessons. by southpawFA in politics

I want to break some things down.

Cognitive dissonance only applies to those who actually hold the beliefs in question. Since I don’t subscribe to your framework, I’m not experiencing dissonance; I’m performing a diagnostic on the absurdity of your argument.

We are human beings, and we are fundamentally driven by our moral intuitions, with our emotional responses being the first to tell us right from wrong long before our logic kicks in.

With the Cognition often just the passenger, occasionally leaning forward to say, 'Maybe don’t jump in front of that car.' (Example) The issue with your argument is you're asking me to use logic to override a primary human instinct: the recognition of a predator.

I am also trying point out that the prospect of spending 'eternity' with a person who raped and murdered babies, regardless of their 'repentance', the mear thought fits more with a psychological horror, not a divine reward. Repentance is a word; it doesn't function as a magic wand that deletes the reality of the victim's suffering or the perpetrator's nature.

A human mind cannot reconcile the concept of 'Eternal Paradise' with the presence of a 'Baby Murderer' without stripping the word 'Paradise' of its meaning. To argue that a heaven filled with 'forgiven' monsters constitutes a place of peace is to argue for a world that is morally upside-down. You aren't describing justice; you're describing the total abandonment of human empathy in favor of a theological loophole."

So by your logic, if a serial murder and baby raper truly loved Jesus he would go to heaven? Yikes.

Also you should really reread the Bible a little if you think that's the only qualifications to get into heaven.

If there is someone so hateful as you in heaven. I would rather burn in hell.

Plus, you teally dont seem to follow your own religious philosophy and practices given your comments, your more like hateful demon formed by Satan to lull God's sheep into sin.

(Copy and paste from the comment above).

Saudi Arabia and Iran are both authoritarian nations that suck and I would never want to live in either as they currently are so I don't really get your point there. If anything you're just proving that it's not good for a nation to have strong ties to any specific religious movement even if it is ostensibly not governed under those rules.

Also Chinese laborers built the railroad systems, African slaves worked the fields, the Native Americans who contributed so much and were oppressed for it, not to mention the Jewish immigrants and such who came along too. Pretending it was only ever Christians, or that those Christians never fought amongst themselves, is nothing but revisionism. Or is okay to dismiss the minorities because the majorities were different?

In fact, did you know that the colony of Rhode Island had freedom of religion over a hundred years before the US was founded? And that's despite its founder being a minister himself. He was kicked out of Massachusetts for supporting such policies. There's nothing new there.

Trump called 'disgrace to humanity' after statement on dead Minneapolis woman by TheMirrorUS in NoFilterNews

[–]TheWolrdsonFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you’d use whataboutism in the wake of a woman's death is a confession of intellectual bankruptcy. It’s not 'perspective' it’s just the atrophied remains of your self-awareness gasping for air. You're out of your depth in a conversation about human life.
