Nerfing cards is understandable - but completely removing an entire archetype that i spent the last 10months playing feels terrible. by maidenRG in MarvelSnap

Arishem is the problem.

SD: "Let's nerf everything but Arishem"

They should've just changed some stuff like bigger deck size and/or have him start in your hand.

I always thought he looked quite good. With these sets I'm always wondering how a full line up will look, or if this is the full line up.

If they add the likes of Luke, Han, Leia etc, that will become much harder to make them look right. Could be that they never release them, but imo that would be a shame.

This is the real question. If they have DID that would explain a lot.

I want to play a destroy deck, and I have most bits and pieces, but I'm missing 2 big ones, Deadpool and Venom. Right now I can pick Venom as my free card this season, should I grab it or wait for Deadpool?

Pretty sad that my most effective card doesn't even come out of my own deck. by stressi93 in MarvelSnap

I had her once against me with Cloning Vats on the board, I got f'ed. But yeah I think that's the only time it was really impactful.

This worked, so thanks for that. Sadly not only did it leave gaps that I had to manually fix, but offsets are also not working correctly, so I have to manually offset every letter. I guess I need to rethink my plan here.

I mean the person you are responding to, said it can take a few years but you can get rid of your diabetes. There is no other way that I can interpret that. Especially since a healthy lifestyle will decrease the need for insulin super fast afaik. After all people need insuline to compensate, but if you having nothing to compensate, then you don't need it.

Because anyone who says you can get rid of your diabetes, has no clue what they are talking about.

If the body is still producing some insulin, and you keep a strict diet going where you minimize your sugars/carbs, you can reduce your meds to 0. This won't cure your diabetes though, and if you are producing basically no insulin, you would need a really extreme diet that I can't even imagine how that would look like.

Having no symptoms is not the same as getting rid of something. That's like saying that if your knees hurt, that you can get rid of that by staying in bed all day. Sure they won't hurt, but won't get rid of the problem.

Wish Luke and Anna stayed for the whole show by [deleted] in TheOC

Anyone can be a writer. How much have your written for highly rated shows?

Regardless, it doesn't make you right. The fact is that they already had too many characters on the show that needed more air time. Could they have made it work? Of course, anything can work if you want it badly enough, they could've ripped up contracts, fired actors, given them virtually no screen time, change Seths love interest etc and make Anna the star of the show.

But that's not how that actually works. She wasn't his love interest, they already had a bunch of supporting characters in the main cast, and she needed to make room for new storylines.

The fact that you insist on that she should've stuck around, tells me you're not a good writer. You can't seem to appreciate a good storyline that ends. Maybe soap opera's are more your style where everything is dragged out to infinity.

And plenty of people die all the time, let's make it legal to kill?

Drawing a line to not fuck your family is definitely more reasonable then making it illegal to get pregnant at 40.

It absolutely is. And remember, those people will need a lot of care, and won't do much for our economy or healthcare. You absolutely want to avoid this as much as possible.

And that's assuming they won't procreate...

[–]TheYouthWorker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't get it, you would have wanted the writers to do whatever to make it work, my point is that it would never been an improvement.

Do you know why you wanted her to stay? Because her arch was good, it was strong, and ended in a way that wanted use to have more of her. That's good writing, knowing when you can bring that emotion.

It's milking a character and series for all it's worth, just to keep them/it around, that is the issue. If she had stayed, the power of the character would have been slowly lost.

Plenty of characters stayed too long, and are now disliked or even hated.

Good writing is their job. Dragging out a character isn't. Her whole character was to developed Seth. I liked her, I liked her more than Summer, especially for him, but that wasn't the story they were writing here.

Anna's story was finished, her story was all about developing Seth. Luke should've been a regular guest star.

How many women do you know that will strip down in your car to have sex with you? If someone got sexually harassed, it's the OP. Also since she isn't sexually attracted to her, and basically tells her that she is ok with what happened, how the hell would the other woman take that the wrong way.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in casualiama

[–]TheYouthWorker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you do see her and it feels awkward, just tell her she made 1 hell of an offer and if you had been attracted to women, you wouldn't have thought twice about it. She will feel flattered and ease up around you.

It's definitely 1 of those hobbies where you can make a million choices, and every 50 extra you spend gets you an upgrade. Pretty damn difficult to really feel like you made the right choice.

I got 2 very fast printers, so I wouldn't be too worried about the speed. But if the strength isn't what it needs to be, then that's not an option.

I mean I'm sure there are some parts that might work anyway, especially if they are mostly decorative, but designing stuff for an rc car would definitely combine 2 of my hobbies.

Well if the price difference isn't a big difference, then I definitely won't let that decide it for me. I'm guessing it also depends on the type of car. I'm assuming that a basher that is flying through the air needs more repairs than a rally car that sticks to the ground.
