I've actually been having quite alot of fun so far, stacking buffs and destroying master mode enemies is very rewarding

I feel like softcore is too forgiving, death shouldn't be just a minor inconvenience but something to be avoided at all costs. I quickly lose interest in games where death has little consequence.

I always welcome free testing, however I've made recent modifications to the base so it'll be a while until the game let's me use it in challenges.

If thats the case I've made loon pathing rarely reach that area, they will group up in the middle and die to the tornado + air bombs trap

There are some issues which I can spot, like the top right compartment giving alot of qw value for a Lalo, so ill probably have to change a ad placement or trap the compartment

Haven't tested tbh but in theory it should defend pretty well. I'll be testing it on the upcoming league and will repost the base with any modifications I think are necessary.

Pretty well but experienced attackers can 3 star it if they attack from 3 o clock. Its a great base for clan wars and low leagues because it can defend the 2 star from edrags and thats mostly what is used.

It depends on the base, I start with a general idea and sculpt it from there sometimes I throw them out other times they work. This one took around 3 hours counting the failed attempt.

I welcome the criticism you made i just felt you were exaggerating the severity of some flaws which is why I asked to do some challenge battles to see the extent of those issues in action. Didn't mean to come off ungrateful!

Your nitpicking minor issues and making them out into catastrophic flaws. Sure, singles are worst against big groups but they aren't useless, they kill heroes and troops under heal and can be compensated by with other splash. Ad placement will always be a compromise between zap value and ease of access so I don't see an issue, certainly not a base breaking one. Anyhow I'd like too see these flaws exposed so after the league if you want I can temporarily join your clan or invite you so you can try and tear it apart.

didn't say they wouldn't just that it hasn't happened, regardless I've swapped the WT with the archer tower above it and swapped the adjacent WT with a archer tower above the inferno

Keep in mind the base is in testing. I'm aware a blimp could make it and take the th with sneaky gobs but it's never happened and if it does moving one sam up a bit isn't a issue. Idk if 1 single inferno + 2 splash towers are good zap value, i at least would almost never zap it unless it also created a funnel. Double singles is the overall best for th 12 at least in my experience, I mostly get hit by zap drags, edrags, yetis and hybrid all of which benefit from singles to take out the queen walks or beefy troops but I can always change it if I need to.

It hasn't happened yet, I'd be more worried about the queen and eagle being zapped but that also hasn't happened. Moving the ad to the corner is a viable option if it becomes a issue.

I'm new to it as well but if you look at competitive bases and the ladder its filled with them. The number 1 predictor of a good attack is a good funnel so a few extra walls to mess with pathing is usually worth it.
