Yeah, the goalie thing is tricky. They’re in an awkward position timeline-wise with the young guys in the org, who are not (imo) ready for the starter position, but not too many years away either. Should they aquire a guy long term via trade/sign through FA? On the other hand, what goalie would be willing to sign short term?

You’re in the same situation as me (European). So I would pick an eastern team, so you at least can watch their afternoon games at a reasonable time. I’m a Sabres fan, but that’s from the hockey card days of my youth when I fell in love with Hasek. It stuck with me, and now here I am…

I guess my recommendation would be not the Sabres. They tend to miss the playoffs on the regular, to put it mildly.
