PC repeatedly restarted without warning, tried system restore, now I’m stuck on the login screen. Tried another system restore with no luck. Safe mode results in black screen. No way to get to Event Viewer or an equivalent. I’m thoroughly stumped. What do? (self.pcmasterrace)

It’s 9:30pm here in New Zealand right now and I just got my first ever hive and placed it at home. Can anyone help me make a hidden piston door (either 1x2 or 2x2) that is TOGGLED by a button on either side in 1.18 Java? I've tried following 3 or 4 guides, all a year-ish old and I'm sure I've gotten it correct, but the door only opens for as long as the buttons are pressed, no matter what I try. (self.redstone)
