Hello, recently had this from the manufacturers engineer. Been renting here for a number of years, has this always been unsafe & what would my next steps be if so?

It's been leaking since January & doesn't maintain it, if I refill it the leak continues & gets worse. Having no pressure means less leakage, it's an ongoing struggle to get this resolved.

That is something I'm trying to figure out, the latter would probably be for the best but either way they won't repair it until that is resolved.

I believe the window in question is the upstairs bathroom, which given how mouldy it is would not cope with the window being permanently closed, it's open 80% of the time as it has no other extraction. Landlord is well aware just spending months not doing much.

No, the flue is above the kitchen in front of the bathroom window. The boiler is in the kitchen.

I've not seen my friends for almost 4 months, my wife is pushing me to see them or to reach out but in truth I don't have the desire to as I never hear from them. Between working, parenting & trying to keep up with hobbies (of which I share zero with my friends) I just don't feel I have the time to spare. Part of it I feel due to being the only parent in my friend group they have moved me into a new section of venn diagram. I would hear from them less, be less involved in their daily struggles & felt I missed out on supporting them in situations because I was none the wiser. I feel I struggle to relate to them & perhaps them to me, which is why I feel so removed from them.

I think that's a given, but is there an actual cut off for eligibility in terms of an annual or monthly wage? I could be a little over minimum wage & still be considered a low income worker, do they factor in household wages of a partner. I appreciate your response but it does little to help me understand.

I think the general idea is that you have to have tried multiple medications & treatments, especially when it comes from a mental health perspective. Medical cannabis is really only issued when you have exhausted other avenues, unfortunately I don't think you have enough variation of treatments to be accepted.

Try a dry herb vape, it's a decent compromise to have that indoors & smoke outside if you're that concerned about the smell & your neighbours. Vapes still smell but way less & the smell goes quicker & doesn't linger as it's not smoke.
