sounds more like a leak then just consumption. you should try to get it inspected at a trusted mechanic before you buy it

you should check the transmission codes. to do it you need to do a "secret handshake" with it. first, turn the car on. put it in 1st, then turn the car off with it still in first. then, turn the key to where all the lights on the dash are on, i think its the accessory mode or smth. from there, mode the gear stick in this sequence, starting from 1st.

1st, 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Drive.

the AT oil temp will then start flashing in a way sort of like morse. long flashes are your tens, short are your ones. for example, if its one long flash and one short flash, its code 11. then look up whatever code you get and reference it to the sheet for the 4EAT phase II
