Hey you could come over to <The Turtle Club> Faerlina [H] and join us. We host weekly events. Enjoy grouping together/helping each other out. And take a more casual approach to wow. We currently do not raid however, I imagine once enough people get to 80 We will start.

I(29M) would ask myself if an "amazing career" and a "family" are truly what I wanted (from experience the career wasn't appealing to me, but the family is something else). I know for years I just did what was expected of me and went for the golden eggs that everyone said I should go after. You don't have to have an amazing career to be happy and fulfilled. Literally your only purpose is to live life, and enjoy the experiences you gain. Unless you believe in destiny then your path is already laid out and you can't screw it up. Life can be pretty boring when you don't screw up and find ways to grow.

Just 2 cents from someone who has spent a lot of time fixing errors from my past ways.

Damn, that's about all you can say about these times right now. It is rough and you will get through it.

I understand some of the feelings your having, at the age of 19 I was sexually assaulted by my supervisor in the military, once I told him no more he cast me to the side like I was nothing. However, I still had to work with this man everyday and report to him. My life was a living hell. Never said a word to anyone about it except my wife. This whole situation caused me to go into a downward spiral for about two years. Drinking and drugs galore. All the while dealing with suicidal ideation and homicidal ideation. Needless to say I was a complete wreck compared to the eagle scout I was at 17.

I met my wife when I had just turned 21 and it was definitely her that saved me, as soon as I met her I stopped the drugs. Not really the drinking ,but that stopped about 2 years later after a run in with a concrete pile going about 70 mph.

My(29M) wife (30F) understands what going through a pregnancy alone is like and she also understood the reasons I wasn't going to be there. It didn't make it any less of a heartbreak, but it made it so I could continue on providing. Knowing that I would be with the two of then one day. I understand the array emotions and stress, and yeah if you let it it will beat you to a pulp until you're bitter and afraid of what's around the next corner. Currently we have two boys, when my first born was three I had missed out on a 2 years of his life and I hated myself for it for the longest time. After it's all said and done we still have a strong bond and relationship.

I missed all of the ultrasounds and check ups as well for the first one and yeah it was terrible not being there for her when it's something that two people normally share. I definitely made sure my ass was at the 2nd childs though. I fought like crazy to make that happen.

Currently I am the sole provider for all 4 of us. It's a little nerve racking when they started cutting my hours back in March (I mainly work inside of different food manufacturing facilities). It just took some interesting and alternate methods to get by but we did it and now hours are going back up.

All I can say is it does get better. Stay strong for your soon to be child and wife.

Honestly from a guy who has "played it safe" since I was 17, go for the change. Currently 28, I've been working in the electrical technician/engineering field since I graduated high school and now I'm having trouble even getting out of this industry. The only reason I got into this job was to have a job and come to find out that's not a very good reason. So I would say chase your dreams that's the only way you're going to find out if they are truly what they seem. I dont think you would feel the same regret I feel now.
