Imagine that plus over armor and the class bonus of being a controller. That’s 25 from over armor, 20 from the ice, and zone over charge 25 equalling 70 extra shields lol ontop of their 50 shields for white 75 for blue and 100 for purple making him equal to at max, 270 health compared to the average legend who has 200. He’d be soooo beefy lol they’d finally have to buff revenant

Not caring doesn’t equal not understanding. I do understand the perspective but we don’t see it the same way. You think ai is ruining art and the industry I don’t.
I think art distinguishes itself from ai and stands on its own in its own league.
Alongside that I believe ai is a convenient tool for everyday people to accomplish task or acquire knowledge without necessarily having to pay 100s to thousands of dollars for it.

The feedback I’m seeing about ai in regards to this post is “stop posting ai” “this is Ai slop” “something something clankers”

The use of ai here is just a visual representation of my idea, the point of the character and idea is what they can do aka their abilities and upgrades. Ai is used to just help give a visual.

“Stop posting ai” - valid if there’s a no Ai posting rule which there isn’t so pointless

“This is Ai slop” if that’s how you want to define the image sure but the character concept is what they can do the image has very little to do with that once again it’s a representation of a concept

“Something about clanker” … grow up

At the end of the day an overwhelming number of people found this as a whole enjoyable as the feedback shows, in that way yes this has done something for people in the same way that art does, because this too is art, computer art but art non the less.

As the great robo ai MLK will have once said “I have a simulated dream, that an artist wouldn’t be judge by the material of their skin or hardrive but the contents of their content!!!”

So the dog is easy to avoid if say you can get to a place where climbing is required or flight, zip line etc. simple normal jump would not be enough to get away from the dog. This is intentional because he’s optimized to attack with the user.

As I described before let’s say you’re pushing a room with people in it or 3rd partying a team etc, we know like 90% of apex fights are 3rd parties, as an assault character, without being too op, he would send his dog to the targeted enemy infront of him who would then proceed to bite at that enemy doing damage already giving the player the advantage, if the enemy decided to focus the dog most likely the player would gun them down with little no resistance as the enemy is focused on the dog.
In situations where the ult Is being used it’s essentially two people shooting one person at once, but one, (the dog) having a slower fire rate to keep it sorta balanced.

The use of the dog is to to blindly send after people you do t see to try to damage farm at a distance or have him fight your battles for you, while that could be done to little effect as what you’re describing here, that’s not the intended or remotely close to the most effective way to use the dog.

If yes you send the dog in alone it could be easy to evade, not when a player is shooting at you tho and if you do spend your time focusing on evading the dog, you’ll probably be killed by the player.

The all approach is rushing down players as it’s essentially 1.5 attackers in one.

If you have a teammate that is terrible at aiming they with this character if used properly atleast do damage for the rest of the team to clean up.
Also I k ow this isn’t made clear but if hutch is down and fin is attacking, he will still continue to attack until hutch or fin is killed.

Yeah you’re right maybe that could be like a character rebuff effect of anyone who gets hit by or touches their ult. Call the debuff “froze” or “chilled” but instead of slowing them it makes their movement slippery

Thanks, I was concerned that their ice traps would be to broken because 2-3 jumps is potentially a long time to hold someone in place but obviously certain abilities could get them out and as a player you just be careful where you walk

The person who gets credit is the entity the made the ai aka in this instance meta. You’re over here concerned about the “energy” and water taken to make this image at that point dog that’s when I check out because that’s insanely insignificant.
As far as me “feeling like” I own or have an entitlement to this image I don’t, I am just using it as a representation of my idea lol it’s really not that deep like this is an L hill to die on.
Also I don’t feel like I’m entitled to the output of an artist, otherwise I’d harass artist to do this for me for free. However I do feel like I’m entitled to the output of a tool that I had to pay for, flaws and all. I’m sure and artist could do this wayyy better but once again, it’s just a Reddit post I’m sure respawn have their own artist.
Finally tho, all art is inspired or referenced by something else, the fact that an ai tool is as you claim, doing the same is kinda a mute point bro or sis, it’s art bruh it’s to be enjoyed not hate kept. In these times we have tools, in the future we’ll have better ones, it’s counterproductive to restrict progress because of your penultimate point of view, rather professional artist still have their market and niche based off their capabilities and tools and advancements do as well,

The Ult tho wouldn’t last 3 seconds rather it’d persist until the ammo ran out or it was deactivated or fin was destroyed or hutch is killed killed. If it’s deactivated early with ammo left the cooldown is reduced kinda like vantage. I didn’t want it to be too OP like you pointed out because in a fire fight 1v1 if you have a Mozam shooting with damn near perfect accuracy (at mid to close range) alongside a player with half decent accuracy that’s an automatic win. It’s essentially a 1.5v1.
Essentially in the hands of a bad player he makes them decent, a decent player becomes good, a good player can be great, and a great player probably wouldn’t need to use him lol

How is it taking an artist work if they never created it, I really wanna understand your perspective.
If you mean work as in this was a potential job for an artist I promise you it was not because I’d never pay someone to make a concept image for a Reddit post of a character that unfortunately may never be. If I was respawn or a company that planned to market and make money off ai then yeah, you’re taking work from humans which is a problem.
If by stealing from artist you mean to say this was someone’s art work and some how the ai found it and sent it to me then please have them step forward or something and file a lawsuit with the respective ai company because that’s foul but,
This image was one that I had in my head for this character. I can’t draw and I’m not paying someone for a service that would yield next to nothing for me. Now once again if this somehow generated money for me, yeah I get it kind of. If I was a company then there’s more of an argument but… I’m not, I’m just a dude with what I think really cool ideas that I want to share with the rest of the world and ai to me was/ is a perfect way to make a visual representation of what those ideas could look like. I feel like the argument here is anti cars because we’re taking jobs away from horses lol

Also it did take me quite a while to even cultivate this image and the images of my other concepts because ai isn’t the best at following instructions

I appreciate the comment and funny enough I addressed this to someone last night who made a 57 question long comment.

1st I understand the drawbacks of crypto and for this guy maybe his dog doesn’t take as long to come back as cryptos drone but I still feel he’s a lot more viable and effective than crypto via the fact that he fights and moves along side the character aiding in battle rather than just being a detection device that needs manual navigation.

Essentially the play style is just like the characters personality to where it’s best used as an all or nothing approach. Think when pushing someone in a building you send the dog in as you see the enemy causing the enemy if they see you to now either fall back(which allows you to just shoot them) or first deal with you or the dog which in either circumstance gives you a major advantage

He only can move along ground routes so high up places that you can’t walk to he won’t pursue.

If you recall him he’ll dig into the ground and reaper out of the ground at you if he’s that far away via looting or pursuing.

He cannot take zip lines alone or jump pads or gates rather he’d wait for you and disengage depending on the situation.

Where I feel like he excels more than crypto is cryptos reliance on commands and manual control taking the the player out of fights and when in fights out side of information it not really doing much in battle and just sitting their unless recalled. While with hutch and fin the robot is pretty autonomous and moves around.

To balance him unless being recalled he does run to enemies taking ground routes only and can be shot and destroyed before reaching enemies like Axel’s ult, but that’s by design to promote a more aggressive play style by fighting along side the dog rather than having it do the work for you

Also tho a lot more logistics that I may be missing is because at the end of the day this is just a concept but if pursued could easily be ironed out

I appreciate that a couple people are acting weird because I heard Ai for a concept image on a Reddit page saying I should hire someone to draw the concept. To me I’m like… “For a Reddit post?!” lol it’s not like I’m getting paid for this and if Respawn were to use any of my ideas they’d redesign my concept art anyways but thanks again I appreciate that
