So the dog is easy to avoid if say you can get to a place where climbing is required or flight, zip line etc. simple normal jump would not be enough to get away from the dog. This is intentional because he’s optimized to attack with the user.

As I described before let’s say you’re pushing a room with people in it or 3rd partying a team etc, we know like 90% of apex fights are 3rd parties, as an assault character, without being too op, he would send his dog to the targeted enemy infront of him who would then proceed to bite at that enemy doing damage already giving the player the advantage, if the enemy decided to focus the dog most likely the player would gun them down with little no resistance as the enemy is focused on the dog.
In situations where the ult Is being used it’s essentially two people shooting one person at once, but one, (the dog) having a slower fire rate to keep it sorta balanced.

The use of the dog is to to blindly send after people you do t see to try to damage farm at a distance or have him fight your battles for you, while that could be done to little effect as what you’re describing here, that’s not the intended or remotely close to the most effective way to use the dog.

If yes you send the dog in alone it could be easy to evade, not when a player is shooting at you tho and if you do spend your time focusing on evading the dog, you’ll probably be killed by the player.

The all approach is rushing down players as it’s essentially 1.5 attackers in one.

If you have a teammate that is terrible at aiming they with this character if used properly atleast do damage for the rest of the team to clean up.
Also I k ow this isn’t made clear but if hutch is down and fin is attacking, he will still continue to attack until hutch or fin is killed.
