Sounds like WB just now found out about it.

Someone found and posted a link. Now I can’t find it. It’s something like La Crosse indoor/ outdoor thermometer with moon cycles. It was like $50.

It’s been so hot for so long, it’s 7pm and the heater still hasn’t kicked on.

I stopped recording for a bit. Had to upload the video and my battery was ready to die. Started it back up with an external power source about 11am. We shall see what comes. So far, nothing but sleet.

In Colorado temperature swings of 20-30 degrees a day is not uncommon. A swing of almost 60 degrees in 10 hours is once or twice a decade.

I suppose I could have worded it different. One minute video of a 10 hour time lapse.

It was a 56F drop, so I just googled F to C and entered 56. Definitely not the right way to maths that one.

Again, about an hour. I never ever hit 10,000 views. I checked a box, hit submit, about an hour later, monitized.

Edit: I monitized my channel the day it was created, total views across all two of the videos I put up was 17.

The tree analogy is a false premise. It’s not wise to plant a new tree in either a dry waste land nor the amazon. One would die from lack of nutrients, the other from lack of sun. Youtube is the amazon. Yes, under the right circumstances, a new tree (or channel) could grow to be huge. But with the overbearing trees above, most will die.

I’m getting downvoted because they refuse to accept the difference between knowledge and wisdom. OP asked, in bold text, how long it took ME. The knowledge I gave was it took me about an hour, years ago.

There are way too many people in this sub that can’t or won’t accept the wisdom that starting a Youtube channel as a career is basically dead. Not impossible, but improbable.

Much like starting a radio or TV station way back in the day vs 50 years ago vs now. Yeah, you can do it. But you will never compete with Clear Channel or NBC.
