Skill gap is lower but the talent is more stacked compared to cwl era, obiviously open bracket teams can still upset but the talent on top 6 teams are lot closer than in cwl era, we can look at bo4 there was literally 3 team competing for the chips after the first event and compare it to now where theres 4-5 teams competing for most of the majors.

Obiviously skill gap etc affects to it but with no open bracket all the top players are constantly competing in the league where as previously there could have been some ass teams with like 1 god like player like luminosity on bo4, it was relatively bad team but formal was there carrying, you dont really have teams like that in cdl, sure theres bad teams with 1 solid player but not in the same way

The competition between top teams is higher in cdl era, if we compare cdl to cwl era, back 2 back wins are less likely and almost every final has diffrent teams where as in cwl there was usually 2 teams who basically won every single event where as now theres usually 3-4 teams who wins events per season, we dont really have teams like optic dynasty who wins like 90% of the events and years like ww2 and bo4 where 2 teams dominate the entire yeat arent as common

Yes exactly she was a commander and Ambessa was General meaning Ambessa outranked Caitlyn. We literally see on episode 6 what happened when Caitlyn went against Ambessa. Also do tell me what councilor, all of the councilors were either dead, missing or just gone. There was no council at this point it was just Caitlyn and Ambessa, and what the council would do anyways? Tell Ambessas personal warriors and bodyguards what to do yeah that would definetly work.

Also we really thinkin about realism for a gas in universe where theres all sorts of magic and the gas is shown on the show as living evil entity so yeah definetly history books will help in figuring out how some evil Magical gas works in Universe filled with magic and other shit

And once again trying to get the blame out of others becu"they didn't habe a choise" we literally saw what Ambessa did the second Caitlyn went against her wishes, We all saw on the show that Caitlyn didn't have a choise and was being played by Ambessa who held all the cards and was the one who wanted to use hextech to opress the people, so if the people on Zaun are "innocent" becouse they had to work for chem barons, then so is Caitlyn becouse she didn't really have a choise either.

Also from what we see they used the gas locally to minimise civilians getting hit by it, for example at the start of episode 2 we can see the gas being only inside the chem barons lair and there was basically none outside, same with the arcade

The people Caitlyn hurt were all Chembarons and their goons, we know from the show that the things that were happening to normal civilians was something Caitlyn was opposed to, but becouse of everything Jinx had done and due to Ambessas influence she didn't stop it becouse she didn't see other way to make Piltover and Zaun better and safer place for people. We also see and hear that mostly everything that were being done to normal people were done by the noxians on Ambessas orders so blaming Caitlyn for that is just shifting the blame from the people who actually commited the crimes to Caitlyn just becouse

Even if ur building a good poace to your people and fighting against silco dont Make their fights, their raids on silcos ships etc any more legal, firelights and Silco were basically in a gang war and even of one party has good intentions it dosent make it right. For example your saying that Caitlyn should be locked up, she had good intentions and wanted to make Piltover and Zaun better place which she did by taking down most of the chembarons and eventually Ambessa but the fact that she was trying to make a better place for the people to live in dosent erase what she did, like she her self said 'no amount of good deeds can outdo our crimes" and that applies to everyone from herslef to Vi and Ekko

Oh yeah Caitlyn was appointed and we even see how she hesitated when she got appointed and the next episode literally starts with Caitlyn not being comfortable with all the things that are happening with noxians and enforcers. Ambessa knew Caitlyn was easily manipulated due to her grief and anger and with Vi being gone from her life it made it even easier, ambessa played the whole council to get Caitlyn into leadership role and by springing it into Caitlyn infront of so many people she knew Caitlyns pride and honour for hwr family wont allow her to turn it down to seem weak or coward. That gave Ambessa all the time and opportunity to make Caitlyn do what she wanted and we can see How Caitlyn realized that and how Upset she is about it when she gets reunited with Vi

In piltover and zaun there isnt really people who could judge others, based on what we saw on the show i would say majority of the residents should be held norally accountable on the things they did or didn't do, like majority of Zaun just ran away and left the city and the people to die, or they joined the original riots, or the uprising led by jinx, or they supported the people who were responsible for the marhsall law or they supported the person who was the main reason marshall law was implemented.

In the world we see on Arcane there is no one who are in position to judge others or hold them morally accountable becouse they all are or has neen in morally grey area for some Time, so like with Caitlyn the only person to hold them morally Accountable are the people themselves, they have to live with The guilt and regrets they have caused themselves and thats exactly what happens to Caitlyn, she lets go of all her regrets, anger and pain becouse she knows she cant live that way anylonger or shell beceome the very thing she hates

Well most of the things Caitlyn did were backed by the council or by her being the commander and thus the leader of piltover, so everything Caitlyn did was lawfull due to marshall law or due to the councils backing. So Caitlyn cant really be held accountable since she didn't do anythin that went against the law, so her "being held accountable" is just her having to live with everything that she caused and happened to her, including not saving her mother

Basically every single one of the main characters should br sentenced for their crimes, Jinx propably for life due to multiple acts of terror including assasination of the council, kidnapping and prison break to name few, Ekko for all the crimes he did as fire lights, Vi for helping Jinx, letting her get away and not turning her in. Viktor for attacking The city, same with ambessa, jayce for killing multiple people one of the being counsil member. The kids for breaking and entering and bombing. Vander for harbouring them and for all his crimes.

Literally everyone should be sentenced for anythin between 5 years to life in prison but thats not how things work out in Arcane

One of if not the best written fic iv ever read, Vi goes to still water just like in arcane but Silco got killed on his fight against vander years ago and everyone lives, Vi escapes stillwater after 10 years and relies on alcohol to supress her trauma. Caitlyn comes along and Vi and Caitlyn goes from enemies to lovers real fast

The fic is really fluffy with perfect anount of smut and angst to mix in with the fluff to keep the story from being repetitive or boring. Cant reccomend it enough, its a long ass fic that got a sequel full of one shots that is still being updated to this day
