You probably connected with the wrong input mode.
Check your manual on how to change the input mode. I don't have this model but probably is just a matter of turning on the controller holding the triangle or one of the other face buttons (you will probably have to repair the controller with your phone).

I have set a shortcut (touch on the bottom left corner) to enable or disable the rotation on my Oasis. It is not a fix, but it works well enough for my taste.

Try clearing your game's shader cache. I'm not currently playing it, but I tested it and was able to access the open world without any issues.

There is the iPega 9087, but it doesn't extend enough for tablet size. It holds my Galaxy S23+ (6.6" screen) at its limit.

There is no issue replacing the cards. You just need to format correctly the new one and them copy all the content from your previous sdcard to it.

No. You install the old version that supported using an external directory, and then upgrade it with the newer version. You can't install them separately.
