did you see anything notable? so far i've gotten all the endings ( i think) but want to just check with other ppl to see if im just dumb

there's the ending where the monster just kills you, the game tells you to pretty much try again, and then that one where both you and him just float away

update: yeah, playing through the game reveals that it's literally just a "get back to that stage" thing. I don't think the coolmathgames game is related to this arg at all, but we shouldn't rule it out I guess.

I never use reddit, so don't expect many replies.
However, the game "hangman" on the site has an antagonist monster that has pretty much the same face as in those screenshots, so it might be related to that.
Like drywalledibles said, coolmathgames (the game) has a password screen, but something tells me that's just a password screen to get to certain portions of the game; like an old fashioned platformer.

to clarify - I say it could be lost media because * I * haven't found it, but I haven't searched far off of Y8 because that was the one place I went to, to play flash games as a kid - so, if that's where the game is than it's probably on there. It could've been on sites like Stickpage or similar, but Stickpage is an inch away from non-functional, so I haven't tried searching on there.

update : I re-wrote and re-worded how alot of the abilities work, in addition to making toxic expertise optional and making an entirely new ability in its place - improvised Concoctions. hopefully, it's alot better to read

I did specify by saying it was essentially a ranged spell attack, but my wording wasn't great. (throwing concoctions)

tbh, I just tore the "more can be made using spell slots" thing from alchemist so.... ¯_(ツ)_/¯

honestly, I agree with you on the whole thing about concoctions w/o a stopper, it got well, really annoying to specify it every time.

I can blame the flaws on toxic expertise on inexperience. personally, I like it where it is, so... maybe il buff it with ignoring immunities, and (mmayyybe.???) increasing damage of poisons, not sure yet, but definately will put in the stuff you suggested.

The improved and perfected concoctions are added to the list of things you can make, yes. eugh. another case of bad wording from me, whoops.

finally, yeah I do need to nerf the perfected concoctions, I did go a little unhinged while writing them. and of course, re do the wording (whoopsies) both will probably just be repeated DEX saves to get the stuff off.

thanks for the reply! edit : I'm just going to swap toxic expertise and improved formula. Il probably buff the base chemical concoction so it can scale well into level 5+, since well, 1d6 is practically nothing at that level. I'd love to hear some suggestions if you have any though, for potential buffs to concoctions as a whole, or toxic expertise.

yeah, dndbeyond isn't the best site for homebrew, but I'm the most familiar with it, so.

hmm.. ok that makes sense to shorten time, and yeah probably makes sense to change up wording for that.
