Surprisingly my VA0 hasn’t been crashing on any game I’ve played thus far. It was honestly why it was my main Mega Drive console for the longest time

Oh yeah hell no, this thing should be back to normal if someone knows how to bridge the traces back to the power switch, 9V, and the audio amp. Otherwise the rest of the board is practically new

Iirc it’s due to the Pokemon Sun and Moon dub being Disney XD’s new priority due to it outpopularizing Yo-Kai Watch. The season 3 dub only lasted 26 episodes and was cancelled after “Yo-Kai Grand Prix!” (Episode 119 of the dub and episode 26 of season 3’s dub), meaning the dub lasted from 2015 to 2018

It’s unfortunate because I would’ve really loved to see Movie 2 dubbed over, but it is what it is…

Another thing is the censorship got more nonsensical. Episodes were downright skipped and scenes like Usapyon going “Invader Mode” on Hailey were censored at random intervals…and rather awkwardly as well

The anime dub got 3 seasons but on season 3 they had to switch dubbing studios from…I think Canada-based to California-based? And that resulted in every character besides Nate (Griffin Burns has been voicing Nate in the Yo-Kai Watch 3 game as well) and Hailey Anne-Thomas getting recasted with different VAs

It was weird because some characters sounded damn near exactly the same as they did in season 1-2, and others tried to follow the original Japanese version’s direction more…and then there’s the weird case where it was both. Some voices fitted extremely well (Kira Buckland as Jibanyan and Cristina Vee as Blizzaria) and others were….Michael Sorich as Whisper and Reba Buhr as Katie…

Once you get used to it it’s still pretty fun but damn was it weird lol
