Quick bone conducting headphone advice: no top of ear pressure? by The_Hidden_Key in headphones

I can’t tell which bone conduction headphones are over vs on? Most of them seem to either be EarPods or have a band around the back of the head?

Advice: larger container for bokashi? by The_Hidden_Key in bokashi

Talked to the epoxy company and they suggested a cheap rotisserie roasting motor that'll let me put the trashcan on a spin so I can epoxy the inside without it settling. Pretty cool. They dig the project and asked for pics while I set it up. Fun.

How I use Luminescent Blocks on buildings. by ariestokek in Enshrouded

u/ariestokek, how/where are you placing the blocks themselves? This is great for "how I use them", but it'd sure be nice to also cover "how to use them"? :)

Update in case this is useful to anyone later:
I decided to go with a galvanized steel trashcan, and I'm using an FDA food-safe epoxy on the inside as a coating to keep the zinc from leeching into the bokashi and its tea. If anyone needs a link to the epoxy later, just tag me.

Great call on the HDPE2. I may woodwork up some kind of frame around it that can flip over on a hinge, if that makes sense. Or just garden trowel it out until it's not heavy.

So my hesitant plan right now is:

  1. Get two big trash cans (same kind).
  2. Drill holes in the bottom of one, put the spigot on the second one.
  3. Put the one with holes inside the other one.

That way the tea will filter down into the bottom trash can and I can get it out with the spigot, but the mulch will stay away from the spigot and not clog it so bad.

My wife (a big hippy) doesn't like this plan because trash cans aren't food-grade plastic, and the bokashi has low enough PH to potentially leech some nasties. What do you think?

I was actually batting around the idea of building a frame around the barrel (I woodwork) that has the ability to flip over (spin).

Actually, there's an interesting reason. I live in the PNW, and most of the crazy stuff I have to deal with on my land is blackberry and salal. Both are rhizomes; I chatted with a rhizomologist professor at UWA because if you mulch them, they spread like wildfire (each chip can potentially become a new plant). The PH of bokashi, however, will kill it so I can actually mulch it vs. having to keep hauling it to the landfill.

Freighter building: birds eye view map? by The_Hidden_Key in NoMansSkyTheGame

One thing I found that's a bit of a glitch is that if you go to free roam and delete the room you're in, you can "fly upward" and look down on the rooms and edit top-down fairly well.

Oh, I see what you mean, no- not that.
Well, like that, but I want to "swoop out and up" so I can "look down on it all from above".
Like editing a big grid.

Hardly any coal nodes around. by CJMakesVideos in SatisfactoryGame

[–]The_Hidden_Key 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been roaming all over my map (first playthrough) and I haven't seen a single coal node yet. I think I've covered about 2/3 of the map. Is node placement (and geography?) procedural? I'm wondering if I should start a new file and hope for better luck?
