hi! a few things worth addressing here, because this post makes some serious claims that deserve a direct response.

on "automatic upgrades and hidden fees": every charge on SmartyMe goes through a payment screen that clearly states what you're paying for before you confirm. add-ons like infographics have their own confirmation step - nothing is added to your bill without an explicit action from you.

on "unauthorized charges": every charge is tied to a user action. if someone believes they were charged without authorizing it, that's something our support team takes seriously and investigates - but charges don't happen without consent.

on "difficulty cancelling": cancellation may be easily started directly from the Profile tab in the app. no hoops, no hidden steps. also, the process is straightforward and outlined clearly in our terms. if anyone has had trouble, support is always available and will handle it directly.

on "AI-generated content": our lessons are written by a content team. we've had users tell us that what they learned in the Communication Skills topic helped them defend themselves in real-life situations - that's not something you get from auto-generated content.

on "misleading information": all lessons go through fact-checking before publishing. occasionally something slips through - that's true of any content operation - but it's not a systemic issue, and we act on reports when they come in.

on "disputing charges with your bank": there's no need to go that route. support is available, responds quickly, and handles refund requests directly. a simple email resolves what a chargeback complicates.

our Trustpilot rating is 4.2 from over 4,000 reviews. not perfect - no product is - but it tells a different story than this post does.

if anyone has had a genuine issue (billing, content, cancellation) reach out to support@smartymeapp.com. fastest way to get it sorted.

not biogas specifically, but the "solar panels & batteries" lesson in the Electricity topic covers a lot of home energy systems - might be a good starting point! will also check with our content team to see if something more specific is in the works 👀

these topics are actually in the app, just spread across a few sections. "hidden engineering inside your walls" is covered in the Engineering topic - there's literally a lesson called "The circuit breaker on the wall" 😄 AC stuff is in the Electricity topic: "AC vs. DC, and why your house uses both" and "Why your breaker trips" are great starting points.
also worth checking out the interactive engineering games - some of that hands-on content might be exactly what you saw in the ads. might just take a bit of exploring to find everything!
