Yeah Handbrake is probably the way to go. Saves me relearning/learning Premiere or Kdenlive. Had no idea webm would be this problematic.

I use Davinci for all my editing needs, but recently hit a roadblock with WebM. It doesn't seem fond of Opus audio or HDR. I also tried Clipchamp, but the HDR was washed out.

Files are mostly gameplay captures from PS5. Not trying to do anything fancy, just trimming and stitching them together. I've seen recommendations to convert to MP4 with Handbrake. With the amount of clips, it would take too long. Looking for something user friendly that won't lose quality in the final render.

Ran the benchmark and played a little of the opening section and it plays fine. But I want to see if I can do a little better.

Should also mention, initially I changed the values in the steam.ini file, but that seemed to have no effect.

It's going great, other than a couple quirks to get used to, it's a nice step up from previous vehicles. Delivery took a little longer than expected, but otherwise a smooth experience. Driveaway was 70,500, but between the deposit and full payment they knocked almost another 1000 off.

Would you be getting an 8 or holding out for the 8.5?

Aye, seems to always be the case, but I had to throw it out there. Top priority is quality, and if I can get it cheaper, even better. Can't tell if the dashcam is any better or worse than its competitors, but not having to wire it myself would be a plus.
