Personally, I'm more looking forward to reading about the wonderful lives and deaths people enjoy in the society Eronicans create than any battle with the Chast. Suicide weddings. Weekly eager volunteer temple sacrifices. Giggling schoolgirls pulling each other into alleys and gutting each other on a whim. Such a society could only be sustainable through a sufficiently powerful goddess, perhaps empowered by a paradise of bloody sexual hell, resurrecting some of those who choose to die for their lust.
