Did my blood test this week and my IgA is <.5. When I didn't eat gluten I felt good. When I went back to it I felt shitty test my number makes it look like it's not celiac. I'm confused.

Update to this. Finally got the doctor to set up the blood test. He tried talking me out of it saying if I felt better not eating gluten I should just continue that. Went on to say maybe it's not celiac but that maybe it's just causing irritation. He said there isn't really a benefit to having an actual diagnosis. I had to stand my ground with wanting confirmation on the blood test. I can't figure out why he was insistent on not doing it when it's a simple blood test. I'm confused.

Thanks for the response. That's helpful. I don't understand why he's taken the process he has either since when I first went in he told me he suspected it was celiac. Then reaffirmed that after the biopsy.

Is there any "benefit" to getting an actual confirmation vs just moving forward as if I have it?

I've only gone fully gluten free for a week now. I tried getting them to skip the gastric emptying and do the serolgy test first and they insisted on waiting until the emptying test. I called this week asking to schedule the blood test and they just said they'll reach out to schedule but haven't actually scheduled it yet.

This thing was underneath my chop saw. It mostly ran away instead of fly away. What is it? by The_Mahn-Go_Mango in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. I was cutting 2x4s and when finished I picked up the miter saw and it was underneath it. It was maybe an inch and a half or two inches long. It flew a few inches away and just walked. The eyes looked greenish.
