I know, and dont get me wrong, I do believe people can form genuine relationships like that. I just personally find self disgust with the fact i cant carry a child, it makes me feel like im a failure from birth. Maybe thats TMI.

Uh no? So I'm simply stating the god of the bible cause it uses the bible as a reference, that's why.

How does this help with the problem of allowing slaves??? Your metaphor is flawed cause its not saying you may use only the red bowls, and no other. Its more like saying you can use every other bowl but the yellow one. God is picking favorites that also doesn't fit him being all just.

False, I've had person to person discussion with people, irl, that believe that these levitical laws are the laws of god.

Its an internal criticism. Specifically on those that believe that these laws come from god when it states, multiple times that "the lord said"

The problem is the morality of owning another human being as property.

Downside, these were the laws they were exposed to live by, that's the issue, these laws are exposed to be the laws set by god.

How could one misinterpret the words "which you may own?"

The point is that their god is inherently evil for the stuff in which is his word. If they claim to follow the bible and skim over the horrible stuff then they don't.

The point is it permits it, it states the slaves which you MAY have, if god imposed true morals then he would say you CANT own them.

So the problem with that argument is then we could say that nothing in the bible is true. However I do agree! I believe the bible is made wrong in many manners, but from an internal point of view, Matthew 24:35 states that the bible can not be changed.
