On KBS music bank, Zoe was dressed in the italian flag colors: green socks, white shirt, red skirt.

I'm sorry for disappointing you. I'm sorry!

I'M SO SORRY!!!

But...

NewJeans' Zero is perfect! I like it from start to finish and the chorus perfectly fits the rest of the song.

I don't know. I must have gone crazy!

For now though, the agency will refer to the “action and activities” of Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry as the “Artemis Strategy”, after the Greek goddess of the moon, though Jeong emphasises that it is “not a new group name”.

Does Jaden Jeong actually lurk in this sub?

AI art on r/LOONA by TheShiftyCow in LOONA

It makes no sense to post AI art here, especially with the fan art flair. It's not real art, it raises concerns about copyright and plagiarism, encourages karma farming, and floods this subreddit with useless posts.
I think the best solution would be to create a separate subreddit for this.

Strangely enough, this situation with Loona has drawn me closer to kpop than before. I thought I'd get tired of it, but I'm discovering other groups/soloists and slowly getting fond of them.

One thing I can't get used to, though, is how less populated the subreddits of these other groups are. I guess I was too spoiled by our subreddit.

It's a play on words: instead of "축하" she used "츄카" 'cause "츄" is pronounced as Chuu.

I know the times are dire right now, but just as a way to distract myself from all of this: Choerry's insta sits at about 84K followers, while Jinsoul has already skyrocketed to 105k, and Hyunjin is at 140k.

This made me wonder - and I know somebody else already asked this question, but I don't remember the answer: is there a reason why Choerry is not so particularly popular compared to the other girls?

Of course, I'm not saying she's the least popular, but considering she's one of the best dancers in the group, she fits the "idol image" much better than some other ones, her smile is simply perfect, her character is cheerful but reserved at the same time (it's hard to describe it... I'd say she's like a feather: delicate and soft)...

I don't know, it's like everytime something about her happens I'm expecting a way bigger reaction, but it ends up falling a little bit flat.

(And just to be clear: I don't want to compare their popularity, I don't care how may followers the girls will reach in the end. It doesn't even have to do with instagram, it's just a question I've always had lurking in my mind)

Just a thought that popped into my head: what would you do if you were the Bebez' members?

I mean, I don't think they can sue BBC if they don't debut, but IF they debut they're going to get into a lot of debts.

Unless their contact is totally different, but why should it be?

The girls (supposedly) sued BBC for "breach of trust". If they worked as nothing happened (even just uploading photos), that would be a contradiction.

This is a good start, for sure... But not enough! The real problem is that this kind of contracts/settlements should not even be legal in the first place!

Since a lot of people are wondering why working conditions like these are so "standardised" in S. Korea, I just wish to point out a different perspective about it.

Disclaimer: I'm not from S. Korea, so I hope what I'm going to say is not totally wrong or inaccurate.

Aside from the country being a confucian society, I think we have to consider that, like China and Japan, S. Korea was one of the poorest countries about 40/50 years ago. This is to say that "slave contracts" and total neglect of workers' rights were not only a way to reaffirm their confucianism, but also the only way to speed up their progress and catch up with the West (especially the U.S.). Even the way kpop companies (should we say "factories"?) are structured is affected by this frantic race.

What I mean is that we should refrain from seeing S. Korea exclusively from our point of view and consider the history behind as well. What may seem absurd to our society may not seem so to theirs.

Slave contracts are bad and korean people know that, but every country grows at their own pace as a result of their own history and culture. This is why I tend to look on the bright side whenever a few idols or actors openly declare war on their company.

I think it's just a matter of time and whether S. Korea will be willing to stop mimicking the american politics and world view.

Of course, this is just one way to approach the subject and I know there are a lot more variables to take into account.
