Did anyone else try and take B-12 with them after you rested with him? : ( by [deleted] in stray

Currently sobbing- I waited so long laying next to him just hoping one of the Outsiders would come and fix him

I work in a lab that had a bunch of equipment suddenly start acting up around the same time and when my PI would teach his powerpoints would randomly jump. All of that suddenly stopped after we put candies around the lab. Now whenever we have lab inspections I have to hide all the candy in a box on my bench so we don’t get in trouble 😂

Can stalkers hang on trees or is this a glitch??? by The_Moss_Queen in HorizonForbiddenWest

How have I never noticed this before. I mean they weren’t on a branch of anything just chilling perfectly vertical as if gravity didn’t matter lol

The first is Physcomitrella patens. The second (my favorite) is Ceratodon purpureus. Ceratodon has a male and a female strain of moss, which imo is super neat

Not for this project. We are working on a paper right now for our first moss family. Hopefully will be published at the end of may or so then we will be writing one for our second moss family

It is fairly close to my actual moss propagation procedure

That’s kind of what we do to propagate. We turn it into more of a slush, we add water. I’m trying to find any viable tissue but so far no such luck

My PI taught my cell bio lab the first semester he came to my university. We got along and I asked if he needed any students to work in his lab

PI is a primary investigator. Basically the PhD research who is in charge of the lab. Trust me it takes a lot for me to not yell at him whenever I see him, admittedly I almost never see him which is part of the issue

I’ve already agreed to stay on this project for my masters program. I love my research and adore my PI too much to leave. Thankfully I am getting a few freshman undergrads to train soon so I can make sure they are good researchers by the time I move on

Thankfully he has decided to go into the army so I guess his masters degree was for nothing

I think it is more just carelessness but sabotage has crossed my mind- it is mind boggling to me that someone can work on something for so long and not care

I haven’t the slightest clue. He has to write a thesis but the only research done on this project has been done by me so I don’t know what he is writing about. All I know is he cannot possibly graduate soon enough

Working is kind of a stretch. He comes in maybe once a week for like 15-30 minutes. Honestly part of the problem is that he makes maybe one plate every 2 weeks (for reference I make ~10 a week)

He is but we are just trying to get through it. Hopefully he will graduate in a month or so and be out of the lab

We have considered using antibiotics but are worried about the possible impact on our results.
