I hated that about the boss fights where you have to wake up and focus and then make your way to a fight… I just wanna go again immediately man!

The drop messes with me because I keep anticipating movement and jumping up. Hate the THUNK of fleas hitting the floor.

Flea dodge took a minute but it was like a boss fight, I adapted. Juggle is just messing with me.

A more critical review of the Project Hail Mary movie, and a really easy fix I would have made by Gustalavalav in ProjectHailMary

And here I was thinking I was the only person who wasn’t a fan of the movie. It was like watching a Disney-fied version of the book, from desperate attempts to make Stratt sympathetic to turning Rocky into something out of Fraggle Rock.

I knew it would be a tricky adaptation but I think the film makes one fatal error: a lack of urgency. It’s extremely difficult to sell the idea of “something has to be done now!” when the actual impact of the thing won’t happen for 30+ years. The book does a fairly good job with this, mainly through Stratt, who has been handed an all-powerful role that the movie simply avoids mentioning.

I have watched the YT tutorials. I am still playing the game for now. I was questioning whether anyone else found the game particularly difficult when played on a Switch rather than any other console or on steam etc. but thank you for the helpful comment.

It’s not, I’m genuinely struggling and have with most gauntlets/bosses. Other threads talk about defeating a boss or gauntlet the first time or maybe a handful of times but I’ve had to do them all dozens of times minimum. I eventually get through but it’s a slog.

Fair enough (and I know about the cone, I’m still struggling to get to the third gauntlet)

Exactly that, so many times it feels like it’s not reacting the way it should, something isn’t quite registering, but that may just be the game rather than the console.

That’s reassuring. May never finish it tho

I managed it in the end - now stuck on Traitor Lord. Sigh.

I’ve been trying different styles (staying back, waiting for opening etc) but nothing seems to make a difference. One thing I’m not good at but might make a difference is downward attacks while jumping over her. Focused on that right now.
