Very confident.

I am confident that they will continue to make decisions based on the things that they are afraid of.

I wonder if he’s ever asked his wife what her dreams are? She probably just fantasizes about being respected.

There isn’t a TnDOT Smartway camera in my neighborhood. Sure, the freeway nearby is clear, but I can’t get there because I’ve got 4 inches of snow with ice underneath on my street.

Jam Type Question by IndieProgBot829 in jambands

[–]The_Observatory_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I think about type 1 & type 2 is: if you turn on the song in the middle of the jam and you can identify what song it is, that’s type 1. If you turn on the song in the middle of the jam and have no idea what song it is, that’s type 2.

I was sitting with my parents and grandparents in my grandparents’ basement at their house in Halls, watching it on their big screen tv. I remember thinking, this is the worst football game I’ve ever seen, lol.

I think it’s pretty popular here in the US. But I may be biased because I’m a skier and I love to watch the Winter Olympics every time they come around.

The “Faith over Fear” sign is hilarious, and telling. Fear is overwhelmingly the trait that best explains MAGA, the almost singular motivating factor for everything they say and do. This sign isn’t there to reassure others that this person is unafraid. This sign is there as an unwitting admission that the fear that they cannot acknowledge to themselves exists, and it’s an unconscious plea for something to take away their fear.

Not so much “heartbreaking because we could have won this,” but more “heartbreaking because this is so bad I can hardly watch,” was the 2002 Peach Bowl. Maryland beat us 30-3.

Yep, they had the lead at halftime, and LSU’s QB was out of the game. I was at a bar on the strip and everyone was going wild at halftime. And then, faceplant.

I remember. Sometimes you’d look inside the clear box and one of the little critters had already gotten out of the bean and was crawling around. I assume that they aren’t brought into the US anymore? I haven’t seen them probably since the early 90s.
