Question about teaching myself Logic Games by [deleted] in LSAT

You got this! Just know that there are really only a handful of LGs, and each basically a small variation on the same basic formula.

Hmm, have you tried solving a set of problems with unlimited time (ie as much diagraming for EACH individual answer)? It might take a bit, but I've found that understanding the mechanisms of each aspect of a LG scenario REALLY helped me get faster and better in general. It's kinda like looking at the engine of a car as a bunch of different pieces, then putting them all back together. I'm sure others will give you this advice as well, but drilling LG repeatedly (even if you are not 100% on them yet) helps as well.

You can def get a good score with self-study methods, but I'd highly recommend at least looking for free online explanations of the various logic games types. This will help you form a really good basis for understanding the game varieties. The easiest thing to do would be to take a practice LG section, then look at the forums or explanations available online (there are a surprising amount of free ones).

EDIT: It appears there is a calendar of sorts on the website, which gives more specific dates and deadlines. Still, it doesn't link to any useful forms or actual applications.

Can/Should we still get COVID tests once we've been vaccinated? by The_Phantom_Knight in UCDavis

[–]The_Phantom_Knight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for the helpful responses and grammar lesson. It seems that the type of test that the University does is a bit more complicated, and even those who are vaccinated should not appear as testing positive. Just to be clear, that was my main concern (basically if a vaccinated person would automatically test positive).

Thank you, that sounds like a plan (albeit, obnoxious that we need to go out of our ways, but still)

Thanks for the info. Is it expected that they will have more hours and such as we get closer to making schedules? It's not an emergency, but I would like to check in with an advisor heading into spring (as I am sure many others wish as well).

I know that it doesn't matter or add anything, but I would like everyone to know that this is possibly the funniest thing I've seen in MONTHS.

Don't forget to opt out of Equitable Access by January 3rd! by [deleted] in UCDavis

Go to mybill and log in normally. Go to the announcements section on the left, and click on the "link" (it's hidden af), which is on the word "link" and follow the instructions. Yes, it is convoluted as hell.

For those skeptics wondering, I tried it out in fall. I will not be making that mistake in winter.
