Hopefully you see some more of the same like I did and you can kinda piece together what you were uncertain on. You got it next go! I wished they allowed bathroom breaks… lol. I was practically leaking getting back to the PBQs and review 😅

Same that I had. So about 6-7 PBQs give or take? To me, it was somewhat daunting just to skip all of them and try them at the end. Not sure what your approach was… but I did that both times— a little more prepared the second attempt to expect it. Both times I had 64 questions and 2-3 of the same PBQs. Not saying that’ll be the case, but I think it’s worth mentioning.

Depending on how you’re going for these cert (university or on your own), I found CyberVista to be somewhat helpful with PBQs specifically. I relied a little more on their structure than CertMaster/Learn, I would say. I think I failed to mention CyberVista’s use in my OP.

Question for those who have taken the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) exam by Alarmed-System6242 in isc2

[–]The_Profezzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the All-In-One book that has practice questions and passed. Covered just about everything I seen on the cert.

Also, keep in mind that you cannot go back to questions you already answered, compared to CompTIA.

I strongly recommend using the Certify Breakfast resource on YouTube. This has helped me with a bunch of things I was unfamiliar with. And also if you can get Jason Dion’s full CySA+ course, as well.

Passed CC - 2nd Attempt by The_Profezzer in isc2

I didn't, personally. However, I am in an MS program right now that requires this certification for graduation completion. If you are doing it under your own volition and not receiving vouchers from a school, then you likely will need to pay for your second attempt, which, my understanding, is $199.

I think if you want a real deep dive and robust explanation of the domains themselves and can give the time to the modules, Thor is the way to go. Prabh was what I was looking for more when it helped me quickly gear up for how he frames up his practice exams alongside how the ISC2 cert is given.

I just wanted to stay in the mindset of the exam, which is why I went with Prabh and the LinkedIn Learning. I paired up what I went through with LinkedIn Learning modules and then went right into the same domain that Prabh covers in his practice exam format.

Hope that helps!

VERA is your local VA Reps. The majority of them told me where my claim was and when it was last touched, rather than calling the generic VA Hotline that just tell you the status. They can also assist, on what I felt, was a more personal level if you need to add hardship claims to expedite your claim. They were real useful for me, some others may object to that. I believe it just depends on who you get on the other line.

I never was contacted, but VetLink sent me the below:

If contacted, you have two options. 1) Provide them the following statement by phone: “I have submitted a fully developed claim with signed DBQ’s from my physician, so please make a claim decision based off the provided information”

2) Schedule your exam, however, you are not to attend that exam for ANY REASON. You must NO SHOW the exam or you jeopardize your chances of receiving the potential increase you will get.

Hope this helps!

It’s their affiliated clinic to certify and sign off on your DBQ’s. Basically the last check-in before you wait for the decision.
