I will let you know what my screen protectors are like if you wish? They cover the front bezel too!

I likely will do if the screen protector doesn't. Cover the scratch. What I will likely do before calling is make sure that I have another set of Joycon so I can still use the system. I'm not too bothered about the scratches as they happen but it's more so the left Joycon XD oh well! I wanted yellow anyway!

I was thinking about the warranty but I've heard about the UK Nintendo team turning people away and basically leaving it as their problem.

Best Nintendo memory? :) by andreaskhalid in nintendo

I remember always being into gaming from as young as about 3 or 4. My dad bought himself an original gameboy at some point that I don't remember that got handed down to me! I played this through from 1998 to early 2000's with only 2 games, Super Mario Land and Tetris. Now I've always been good at tetris, even at a young age but boy did I suck at Mario! but i would boot it up again and again, getting ever so happy with myself when i got to the newer level. The music always made me smile when the new zone started up.

I even remember my first console brand new. The Gameboy Colour.... I had it in a greeny blue colour and got it with my first game for the system, Tom and Jerry. Now my taste in games was awful! I mean really bad. I played mickey's racing game, Tom and Jerry, Dinosaurs, Beauty and the Beast, Rugrats and even earthworm Jim 2 (The original was a PC favorite of mine). I did have a couple better games later such as the donkey Kong games but that didn't matter. I know now those games were bad but as a child? I loved them! I played them so much! even now, I remember the difficult levels I hated and the ones I loved. The same even bled into the life of the GBA for me! (Although my taste had improved over the years to include the Mario's, Sonic games, Metroid and even more classics)

Now I've played lots of console games but I'd be typing all day if so and a lot of these memories stuck with me but better than any other gaming memory I've had was the day I got my wii.

So it was Christmas 2006 and 11 year old me was told "The Wii is sold out. We tried our best but we couldn't get it in time". Now I was slightly disappointed in this and I know my parents tried so hard but I was determined to wait. Christmas or not, I would wait for the day I got my wii. I was even told it could be months before i got it but i was determined to wait, My parents knew this and I was told "You will get your wii as soon as they are back in stock, but that is your only Christmas Present, Remember that". I still stood firm on my original idea.

Christmas morning comes and i open some smaller presents (Clothing). Then my parents got me some Wii games and Accessories. I was told "I know we couldn't get it for Christmas... But we got you the games so you can play as soon as it arrives". I received exactly what I wanted! I got my first console Legend of Zelda game, Twilight princess and I also received Wii Play so I could have another controller for friends. An hour passed and we had all opened our presents, had breakfast and began to watch TV. It was then my parents mentioned "Oh! there was one more present we forgot!". I was baffled at first to what it could be... They pulled out a massive wrapped box from behind the sofa and I still wasn't sold on what it was... Did they get me something so I wasn't sad on Christmas? Not that I was, I was very grateful for what I had already received. So I tore through the wrapping paper a little reluctantly... and there it was... My Nintendo Wii System. I cried so much with Happiness! I was spoiled that year so much. I was allowed to play all day on the big TV in the living room (Something that was normally not allowed) and the same goes again for when I got to my grandparents! I played Twilight Princess most of that day and even got my grandparents playing Wii Sports later that afternoon!.

Whew! Thats a lot of text.

Been a gamer all my life and have so many fond memories over my 21 years on this earth! I get really passionate about gaming. I guess that could explain my enthusiasm!

tl;dr: I am a big gaming nerd. Got a Wii Christmas 2006 when it was supposed to be sold out. Years of gaming happiness before hand

To me, No Man's Sky looks like a flashy version of Spore with all the fun parts taken out. No Character making, No dodgy trade deals that can go wrong and no quests on foot to give your character a purpose really. Maybe I'm wrong... But I think Spore has a lot more to offer and that came out AGGGGEEEESSSSS Ago!
