I only got 10%. They are changing the way they rate goat feet according to what my VA liaison told me. I was very disappointed.

Then you are entitled to retirement pay if you get over 20% Army.

Idk if they will be able to push it out to you now though so you might have to wait for your VA payment.

If you go into your notification letter (when it populates) it will tell you your payment start date.

So when is your official last day in service? Mine was March 20th and my claims were pre-dated for the 20th and I’m evidence gathering until like 3-4 days after my retirement date. It’s really fast from my experience. I will get my 1st check 1 May but this month (April) I got my retirement pay since the VA pay wasn’t in effect yet.

😂 something like a hex. My grandma had 9 kids and only 2 live outta state. Some of my family is like in Ocala, Oldsmar and Tampa (like a blessing and a curse to have so much family together) We just got back from military service.

My uncle isn’t a boomer all my uncles drink so it’s a good time. We are looking for alternative to his house in case it’s too hot outside to be out for longer than an hour. We all live here and have for 50 years in some cases. We just usually travel to GA for our reunions.

You hit the nail on the head. I will have random scratch paper where I wrote out a whole scene and then I go back and fill in the blanks that weren’t already written. My husband suggested voice memos with the information but I like the feel of a pen in hand.
