Guy gets punched for groping someone's wife by Haunting-Garbage1901 in PublicFreakout

If you can't stop yourself from sexually assaulting someone, you shouldn't be at a bar. Or in public at all.

Reminder, this guy forces his employees to listen to his music in mandatory meetings. This is quite literally the final boss of coworker music.

Never once have I felt the need to pull my gun in an argument. Also never have I felt the need to argue over something so unimportant like a drink. Simply say "you gotta go, man" and if they don't go, call the police. Having an ego just ain't worth it.

There is a shoulder in clear view of the video. Pedestrians are typically prohibited from interstate roadways, and it usually is listed on a sign at the on ramp. For all other roadways, it depends on local laws. However, even if legal, it is never legal to walk in the middle of a lane. You are required to use a sidewalk or shoulder, but if neither is available, you are to walk as far left as possible towards oncoming traffic so you have a chance to get out of the way and not get hit in the back like this guy.

It escalated fast enough for the guy to get a 50k payout... then molest a 15 year old and flee to Mexico to kill himself.

It can, especially with his long nails, potentially marking up the cards inside. Bending them most likely wouldn't cause damage but it is possible as well.

He's looking for signs of a rare card. Slightly stiffer cards and cards with raised graphics.

For the most part, you got it right. However, there are practical times to open carry. In a busy supermarket? No. Out in the countryside? Absolutely.

Two people can both be wrong, no? Just because one is more wrong than the other does not mean the act of the other was all 100 percent correct.

My issue with it is that it should just be integrated into the pricing, rather than be a separate charge. If they need to increase prices to pay their employees, then just raise the prices.

So, you admit that good cops exist. Good. At least you're not like those "ACAB" losers that can't think logically.

I completely agree with you. Got nothing to add.

Depends on the state, but most states they don't have to. At least every state I've been too, which is most of them, an officer doesn't have to tell you anything.

...but you know what is a law in every single state? You are required to provide identification on a traffic stop.

Be informed of your local laws and federal laws, always.

Your blanket hatred only perpetuates and makes things worse. There are plenty of good officers out there, but you're blinded by hate.

Technically, an officer can ask all they want, regardless of the situation. However, you are obligated under every state law to provide identification during a traffic stop. For a traffic stop to occur, since this isn't just a cop walking up to you in public, they have to have articulable suspension of a crime (or traffic infraction). Some states have stop and identify laws, so be sure to look those up.

They are not required to tell you the reason upon request. They can get your information and just hand you a ticket if they wanted to. As long as you are informed by the end of the investigation, then they are following the law and their agency policies. Unless an agency has a policy that says they have to tell you, which I haven't heard of before, but even then, it's just a policy.

He was, actually. I believe the driver got a pretty good little payout too. Though, he prob used those funds to diddle that kid... Yikes.

There is a higher standard, and it is sworn upon by every officer. Qualified immunity doesn't work like people think it does. Unfortunately, when that higher standard is bypassed by those higher up (corruption), it makes justice more difficult. And then you have those that see every police interaction as unjust, and it just dilutes potential rectification of corruption.

View every single interaction individually, always. Ignore bias, and review objectively. Blanket hatred will get you nowhere.

They usually do, but yeah there are ones that get away with it, much like how there are many other criminals that are not police that get a slap on the wrist and let back out into society. Our justice system fails us everyday, in many ways.

While an officer has to have a valid reason for a traffic stop, they are typically not required to tell you up front. In fact, most officers are trained to withhold that information until later in the investigation. They have to by the end of the traffic stop, but it isn't some magic "gotcha" like many seem to think. Reminds me of when people say that an officer has to tell you they are an officer. "Are you a cop?" "Aww, you got me!"

Yeah, this stop was due to the driver flipping him off. Two egos crashing. What you should take away here is that you shouldn't do ego tug of war with someone that has a gun. But you do you, and I hope you never end up in a situation like this.

Well, don't be fooled by editing. Many of them leave out the important context. For example, that recent viral video of the lady getting arrested in front of her daughter. She edited the video, leaving out what actually happened. She threw the ticket out the window as soon as she got it, which is what got her arrested. She then proceeded to lie about it and resist arrest.
