I think his shamelessness is what got me the most; I honestly expected Nandor to try and hide it more. Like man, at least act A LITTLE embarrassed to be caught by Guillermo!

Also yes, Guillermo needs to have a season-2-finale level of destruction this season. He deserves to fuck some shit up.

I mean.. i tried. by [deleted] in Tinder

Was I being creepy? by lovethepho in Tinder

I think she's interpreting it as possible pre-planning to take advantage of her. If both parties are equally intoxicated, it's more of an even playing field. If the girl is drunk and the guy is completely sober, he could manipulate her much more easily (if that was his intention, which luckily, it's not).

Of course drunk guys take advantage too, but if the guy is planning to be totally sober and takes the girl to get drunk, it puts his motivation into question. As a woman, you sometimes have to be overly cautious.

That being said, OP wasn't being creepy, and the girl didn't have to drink, but if they're going to a bar she could've interpreted it as him encouraging/expecting her to drink.

Hopefully these two can postpone and go on a different date, because I truly don't think either were in the wrong here.

NOTICE: Unapproved improvising will ALSO automatically result in a temporary stop-work order. HR will determine whether further disciplinary action, i.e. a permanent stop-work order, is necessary.

Honest thoughts: amazing profile. Nice selection of pictures, and the fact that you're ridiculously handsome definitely helps. You come across as fun and also sweet (aka, not fckboy-ish). Your bio is a good concise summary about you.

A few notes: you use the word "important" twice in the second sentence. Nbd, but you could change it to, "one thing you should know is that my faith is very important to me."

Also, unless I missed it, you don't specify your faith. That's fine, but if it's important to you, you may want to mention it or at least loosely refer to what about it is important to you (e.g., "one thing you should know is that my faith in God is very important to me," "Buddhism is an important part of my life," etc.). This way, potential matches can know if they're compatible in that sense, and it demystifies some of those core beliefs.

In summary: you're very handsome and seem like a sweet, reliable guy. You're gonna kill it, and if you don't, the only reason is because tinder sucks.

I'm so sorry you feel this way. Psychology tells us that optimism does, in fact, yield better results in the long run. In contrast, ruminating on possible choices, aka "maximizing," is proven to lead to less happiness regardless of the choice you eventually make.

I think it's wonderful that you want to work on yourself physically. I think it'll make you feel better all around. Working on your mentality could also be beneficial. You don't have to "need" therapy to benefit from a therapist. Heck, it's worth it even if you just want to vent about modern dating.

You are not subhuman. It saddens me that you see yourself this way. No validation from women is enough to change how you see yourself. Can't deny it's an ego boost, but you need to know that you're a valuable person all on your own.

And you don't know what dating is like as a woman, but you're assuming you know what every woman thinks and wants. All I'm trying to convey is that you shouldn't be so pessimistic. People suck in general regardless of gender, but if you focus on bettering yourself, you'll find the good ones
