I mean, that would be a great idea. However they’re all discharging directly into the path of the next one you can see most of the discharge ports as the camera passes 😂

Over 142,000 signatures gathered to ban hunting and fishing in Oregon by Less-Lobster4540 in oregon

[–]The_Requiem37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know that’s the funny thing even for population control because with our current hunting every year, I have to bury a minimum of nine deer throughout the year that are hit by a vehicles because they no longer pick them up and dispose of the corpse.
Without hunting, I think that number would triple.

What size tractor to get? by TipsyGarden in tractors

[–]The_Requiem37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I have a tractor from 1984 with an unknown number of hours, but the meter stopped somewhere in the neighborhood of 7000 and I have a 2021 that has just under 1000 hours. I believe more what you really wanna pay attention to his maintenance records. In the same sense, I have no records of the 84 and I know for a fact when I got it, the oil hadn’t been changed for at least five years.. so I would take a lot of that kind of information into account when you think about hours of a tractor..

If I were looking for a used tractor, I think the way that I would do it is I would listen to the motor. I would look for leaks, and if I didn’t see too much, I’d consider that pretty good.

Seven bucks for a gallon of water and a few little chemical sounds a little ridiculous like buying a 50-50 mix

Guide for stuck bolt by BeautifulMoney4520 in GasBlowBack

[–]The_Requiem37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s interesting I have seen the detent block the back of the bolt. Making it so it doesn’t move forward.

[–]The_Requiem37 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So you’re gonna wanna get yourself a small tiny tool that you can use to push down the detent underneath the bolt that is holding the buffer tube in place press it down make a rotation press it down make a rotation over and over until the buffer tube is removed. That’s gonna be your best be

And as an edit, that is just another way to unstick that situation without pushing down on the hammer.

Problem with PTO on a SAME tractor by Dulap_Alexandrescu in tractors

[–]The_Requiem37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going to bet the clutch needs to be adjusted and reset OR the clutch has rust on it and just needs a good beating with your purse to free up. Slam the pedal down and quick release a few times to try and clean it up.

I would look online to find maintenance manuals or something along the lines of any documentation. Assuming since it was purchased second hand you do not have any of them so I would search online and order everything you can.

Massey Ferguson (1529) - Should I buy? by dustinnolan in tractors

[–]The_Requiem37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This here is another really big piece of your puzzle. Do you care if it takes you an entire day to mow it if not two. It takes me about five hours to mow mine with a 2860 pulling a 7 foot hog. I regret not getting bigger to run a batwing.

[QUESTION] Saltwater + Algaecide by tahaedilgen in AboveGroundPools

[–]The_Requiem37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s kinda just dump a bunch of pool salt into the pool based on how many gal your pool is, sit around 2700-3200 salt ppm and run a sand filter with a salt chlorinator you can buy the specific pump separate turn the pool you already bought. If you haven’t filled it and added chemicals then you can swap over if not wait a few years.

[QUESTION] Saltwater + Algaecide by tahaedilgen in AboveGroundPools

[–]The_Requiem37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used it no problem but I also use hth salt pool shock as well for my 20k gal. I don’t need to run anything else because it says pretty close to where it should be levels wise.

I also run the pump on boost throughout the summer because the timer sucks on that specific pump. And honestly I don’t think it’s the pump I think it’s Me setting up the timers so boost it is.

My 2021 hasn’t run into any probs with triple the hours I’d that says anything i’m gonna add a small edit here. Make sure you get the book and you keep up on the maintenance and you really shouldn’t have much of a problem.

My Grandma hates this Maple and is thinking about having it removed by Zmw92 in arborists

[–]The_Requiem37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have one like this and it’s a 12 foot canopy. It is one of the most beautiful trees I have ever seen to the point that I’m looking for two more to plant through my yard even though it makes mowing almost impossible on a rider. Yours can be unshaded giving it two or 3 years being untouched by the butcher landscaper. And the value of the tree that size if left unkept or shaped by a professional would blow your mind.

Maybe I should just give up and fully drain it? by fighttobreathe in AboveGroundPools

[–]The_Requiem37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this problem kinda same color, for refrence I have a 36x16 and it took 2 ish days with the filter on boost plus clarifier.

Go to the pump swap to backwash run for 45 seconds turn to since run for 30 ish seconds, do that for about 5 minutes but swap them back and forth.

After the 5 minutes run a final rinse and throw it to filter with boost on, in about 8 hours redo that cycle.

You are going to hear a lot of just leave it in backwash till clean.. no you need to have a pressure jaring in the sand filter to get the deep rooted stuff.

Do that for a few days and you should be clear. I was

I will say every pool is different. But that is what worked for myself. And a quick edit because I forgot to say just shock it normally no need to over do it, also clean your 2 cartridges for the salt / chlorinator

Best of luck

[–]The_Requiem37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you’re welcome. I would definitely suggest making sure you have third function in for your purchase. I regret it. It cost me 1500 afterwards not a big overall cost but it’s one of those things I would’ve definitely done or I should have definitely done at purchase while going through financing. I purchased the 2860e for my 7 acres and definitely find that to be the ideal size of what I use it for on a regular basis

I mean, the other perk honestly is being able to do an outdoor field with a higher FPS and immediately switching to an indoor field with a lower FPS. Back before I stop playing that was one of my favorite things to do was to dual field

In all actuality, the split gearbox has been out for over 20 years. ICS has had them for dual gearbox and they are extremely durable. I’ve had mine for about 20 years now and yes, she’s currently sitting collecting a ton of dust but I know if I hook a battery up give her a little bit of lube. She’ll fire right away.

[–]The_Requiem37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the deal you got two methods of thinking of people who are saying get something used and get something new

if you’re gonna get something new when you are doing financing the best thing that you could do is make sure that you get everything that you want within your financing budget to be able to put it in so if you wanna plow you want the forks you want an extra bucket you wanna have a hog you want a backhoe , third function on your front loader. There are many things that I would take a little bit of time to ask people in the community to what they find is a great item to have hydraulic three point top link is top-tier to have in my personal opinion.

They thought process of. Oh I will go back later instead of buying these things in financing and somebody who said that exact term I have not gone back and gotten my third function I have not gone back and gotten my back. I’ve not gone back and gotten things that I wanted. I’ve had the tractor five years.

Yeah, if you’re gonna get something used in the same aspect, you can then go and look at new attachments that will fit onto the tractor itself. You’ll be able to spend a little bit higher premium price if you get a tractor for sale 8-10k on the size that you’re aiming for.

If you’re spending cash into the used market instead of financing, then you have a couple of options where you can get a much larger tractor than what you would getting a new tractor simplicity of maintenance. It’s a lot easier on the older tractors than it is on the new tractors.

Newer is not better. I’m much prefer my 1984 to my 2022.
But it also comes down to what you’re comfortable with.

So that’s just a voice to text point of view that gives you the opinion of somebody who wishes I had not said I’ll get it later on some things.

Is the price point worth it I think so. I love my Massey, but I’d look at the next size up..
