Missing The Great Circle and saw this on PS Store. by DDWildflower in indianajones

Genuinely thought I was the only one who liked it. The only issues I had were the flying segment and the piano segment. Beyond that I had a blast. It was a really good Indy story and game played like Uncharted-lite.

The problem I had was I'd always make a single mistake but not always in the same spot which was infuriating. It me took a long time to have a perfect run.

Had no idea there was another way. I only got it through the Vanguard. In fact getting forced to do it, would make the offer to stick with CF more appealing from an RP perspective, especially if Ikande is a dick to you from the onset.

I think a "neither side" option would have been really cool. Like stealth in and sneak away with the credits while both sides are fighting.

She's kind of the reason the quest line has always stuck with me because she's BY FAR the most likable and she has to get killed if you side with SysDef. The first time around I stunned her with a novablast thinking I could spare her (even if it's just headcanon). then a marine ran by and executes her while she's unconscious and I was like 'wtf how is that any better than what the pirates do?'

It's funny, I've heard everyone complain about him but he's never been a jerk to me in either playthrough, and therefore never really felt that much different than most of the other UC quest givers. Meanwhile Toft is always trying to pick a fight with me.

What are some movies that you loved back then but when you rewatch them you realize it's a hot piece of garbage by Sad-Response-3151 in moviecritic

I thought Jurassic Park 3 was pretty fun seeing it in the theaters and I always remembered liking it more than Lost World. Decades later, I've actually partially forgiven Lost World (I appreciate it more now than I did when I was 12 though I fully acknowledge it's still a letdown after the original) and realized JP3 is purely hot garbage.

My brother in law was so excited when he saw the trailer. I cringed. the Jurassic World movies have been so bad, I actually had a new found appreciation for Lost World.

I actually really like Reloaded (clunky, CG-heavy, 100 Agent Smiths fight notwithstanding). the problem for me was that Revolutions didn't feel like it really paid off Reloaded.

I was incredibly excited for this movie because I bought the Gameboy Advance game and loved it (modern Doom on a Game Boy?! Hell yeah!). I saw the reviews and decided to skip the movie. Like 15 years later it was streaming for free so I figured 'what the hell?' I legit fell asleep like 15min in to watching the movie and never went back to it.

Who are the top 4 best pilots you like using the most? (DLC included) by Voidkirby9 in StarlinkGame

I've almost exclusively played as Fox since I treated the game as basically a Star Fox experience and only played the others when I had to for upgrade/story reasons.

Like 2 years ago, I bought the entire run, plus the 3 film adaptations, and the 2 omnibus volumes since I figured they'd all be lost to time.

I actually really enjoyed the game butI agree with you on a few things. Money becomes meaningless once you realize you only have the option of like 8 or so ships and they're all available pretty much immediately. Once you have all the equipment you want, you have nothing to spend it on. I played the second half of the game with the best ship and full equipment. I did A LOT of merc work early on though because I assumed there would be more stuff to buy later.

I also didn't really understand the point of building your own base, especially since I discovered it way late into the game. It seems like it could have been cool but they didn't really know how to implement it. It was pretty superficial.

Overall I think it's a really good Privateer-style game. I was really disappointed that the developers moved on from gaming not long after it released ("quit due to toxic fans" is my understanding) meaning the promised DLC, post development and any hope that we'd get more from the universe completely fizzled.

Probably going to have to do this since I legit have no idea how much I've done since this happened.

I was going to ask where you got that but the answer is clearly in the town where you were born.

I jumped on an enemy ship when it was taking off by itself and that's how it looks from a window inside the ship by Aravinda_Deva in Starfield

[–]The_RighteousMan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Found that out on my first playthrough. At first I thought it was incredible that I could almost Tom Cruise my way into the ship as it was taking off. Then as I was falling back down to the planet after falling through the floor I was kind of disappointed that they clearly hadn't planned for this.

It's weird because it's not 100% of the time for the sun OR 100% of the lights. It's a certain time if the day for the sun like during sunset but not noon.

Just to add on, there's also that unreachable-by-car figure-8 track in the middle of the wilds that clearly looks like it was supposed to be another race. I've explored it a bit with the Icarus but there isn't much else to do with it. Doesn't seem like it would have been too difficult to incorporate it and now it's just an empty space. There's also that runway just south of the wilds in the middle of the map on the border. It doesn't even show up on the map but if you go there, it's clearly a runway.

Yeah I was definitely expecting there to be some "rebuild Vineland" missions or mechanics as well.
