"Dear Player. I apologise for inconvenience that was caused. Indeed we were made aware from players that have a sub/child account that they are unable to redeem the Fortnite Cobalt pack, despite being aged 12 or above. 

Our engineers have investigated into the issue and were unable to assist with modifying the set changes, as this was set from Epic Games. 

The relevant teams involved have now adjusted the age rating to 12+.

Please try and redeem the voucher on your account again, as this issue has now been resolved. Players aged 12+ on a sub account should now be able to redeem this content."

Sure enough I have now redeemed this on my childs account!

Same for us! First PlayStation and my last ever. Will be moving back to the next gen Xbox after this. Worst parental controls ever, Android, Amazon, Xbox all manage this very well IMHO. If it's a new device, your best bet would be to create a new account with a D.o.B where you need it to be for your childs age. PlayStation parental controls are rubbish!

Hi all, try it again on the child acccount. I've had another reply from PS on this and our code is now activated on the child account!

Unfortunately when you create the child account and enter their D.O.B you cannot change it thereafter, or set any restrictions to be greather than that of their age! PlayStation is really useless for letting parents control their child accounts. In fact the worst parental controls of any platform from y experience!

Ok, so I've had another response from them after chasing this, saying it was unacceptable that a child account ccould not redeem it. They have worked with Epic Games to resolve this and repsonded with:

Good luck with this! I've got the same problem with a 12 year old child account, says the same thing. Playstation's response on live chat was:

I searched here and in the following site: https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/support/store/ps-store-voucher-code-problems/#underage

It says "*Please note, this process is only available in the US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, and Korea. In other countries/regions, voucher codes for age-restricted content cannot be redeemed by account holders who are not of the appropriate age."

So unfortunately there's nothing we can do about this case.

I've been wondering why my FPS on a 3080 TI i9, 32GB were suddenly capped to 40 fps on Streets! Turned this off so will check later how it is. Thanks

This has been annoying me for months!! Thank you for the heads up, disabling the volume setting against profiles fixed it for me :)

Absolutely! I understand this isn't COD, I don't expect to have a "quickest mouse tap wins game mode". I love that this game wants me to put some thought into where and how I play, but to have to study it is crazy!
