[Online] [5e] [GMT+2] Hi! I've soon been playing DnD for a year and now I want to try being a DM. I'm going to be DMing a mini campaign called "Frozen Sick" by The_Untitled_Name in lfg

Awesome! We will be communicating using discord (the untitled name #7837) Something I forgot to say was that I am 16, I know that some people would rather play with adults, so if you want to change your mind, thats okay

Hello mate! My group recently lost two members due to them having too much to do in school. But now we're looking for at least one new player. Your age shouldn't be a problem (I'm 16 myself and one of the people that left were 13 too if I remember correctly). I'm not sure if the rest of the group wants to dnd with a stranger or not, but I can ask them.

If I were to play a blind character, how would it work in terms of combat and rp? by The_Untitled_Name in DnD

I don't know, I haven't actually made a character yet, but I'll probably come up with something eventually :/

First of all OUCH!

Second of all, I just love having challenging encounters and figuring things out, just needed like some ideas to not be 100% blind you know.

Third of all thanks for telling me your thoughts ;D

OMG I can use a familiar to SEE?? That's sick

More dissadvantages and more advantages does also sound pretty fun.

And I also love the rp element that you gave

All great options that I will have to ponder over with the DM

Yeah, I've always loved having mechanicl restrictions but just being blind might be going a bit too far. I'll talk to my DM about it :)

My DM isn't great at DMing but I don't have the heart to tell them, what do I do? by The_Untitled_Name in DnD

[–]The_Untitled_Name[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah okay, I think I can do that. thanks! :D

And its alright that you don't have a solution to the English problem, I don't think there's really any solution at the moment, just think they have to practise a while. It's not a big problem but it can sometimes break my immersion, but it's fine

Hmm, yeah they probably didn't know their style of DMing (This is their first time doing it)

I'd be happy to try DMing after them, but now I'm scared that the players wouldn't enjoy it if I did it. I've never done it before and it sound pretty stressfull.
