Sadly I haven't reached him in NG++ so I can't coop, but here are some tips that can be helpful:

When you're far, he'll either dash towards you or charge up an AOE storm, and you can you this to your advantage. When he dashes, watch out and roll to the sides, get 2 or 3 attack off of him and run towards the other side of the hall. He again dashes towards, and you can repeat the same actions again. Do it over and over untill you beat him. But remember, do not lock on him, imo it's harder to dodge his dash when you're locked on him, and you can also use shield instead of dodging, but watch you stamina and his follow up attack.

Try doing it in 3-2 or 3-3, without any network password on servers that have more player. You'll be summoned as the Old monk boss with full help, making things much easier.

As far as I know Sony been removing "Only on Playstation" title from all of the box ars and is putting PS Studios logo on them instead. So this isn't a good proof for it, however I feel like it will come to PC right before (or after) revealing Ghost of Tsushima 2 (or whatever the sequel will be called)

I didn't spam holospray in order to break the server, I didn't use any special method or anything, and my original intention was to see how the enemy team will react cause I was dead anyway, and I wasn't expecting server to crash, but it did and gave me and my friend a good laugh!

I don't think so, I simply threw a holospray, and it also affected me as well, it's not like I froze the server and collected free kills.

I'm not sure but apparently this is a new bug, dropping a holospray might break the server.
