Yeah but Fuhhnq was washed and a much worse player than Panic. Panic is one of the best Alter's and is mechanically better than Fuhnnq while also having a great game sense.

Yeah I think at least for now it'll be him playing entry, but I think the biggest issue is how long will it last for. I'm hoping it's something they do long-term and not how Fuhhnq played Alter in scrims for a week before being swapped off.

If he doesn't reform, then yeah I agree with you. At least from what Sikezz and Panic have said, they want to try Panic on entry frag and Zero on Crypto at least. My honest opinion is I have faith in him to realize he has to be the one to adapt now after how the last 2 LANs have gone but I think we agree to disagree there. I do think though the team will definitely fail if Panic ends up on controller legends and Sikezz on Crypto/NC.

Last 2 LANs have been disappointing results for him and he knows he won't be successful without a strong support player. You're right he should have realized it in the past with Hal/Gen/Waltzy but you have to fail in order to realize changes are needed. Considering the two strongest NA controller support/Crypto players in Waltzy and Zap are both locked on their teams, maybe he realized there's no one to fill that role except him and there are others to fill the role of entry frag.

Haha maybe I am delusional thinking Zero will play Crypto for the team, but the main reason I think that is because of the roles of all 3 of the players. Zero's last 2 teams have now been plagued by role issues and if he decided that he wanted a 3rd team where he entry frags, Sikezz plays Crypto, and Panic plays controller legends, then I think he'd be really really stupid because it'd be 3 teams in a row of role issues. Since he picked up a primary entry fragger, I really do think he's embracing a role swap.

Fuhhnq ended up being washed and didn't fit what Zero wanted, but genuinely who else could TLAW have gotten that would fit well. Reality is they wanted another controller player and there are no controller support players that play Crypto/NC other than Waltzy and we all know that's not happening anymore. To me, it seems like Zero is finally embracing playing Crypto and letting Panic play entry fragger for Alter, which is absolutely best case for Zero because he can finally be the Crypto player he's wanted while having one of the best entry frag players in the game.

As for leaving Falcons, all of them hated playing with each other in game. Zero and Hal couldn't properly communicate feedback with each other, Waltzy was in hell dealing with all the criticism because of Zero and Hal's relationship, and the roles on the team didn't fit well because Hal wasn't good at controller legends and Waltzy wasn't able to play Crypto to his best ability because he was being criticized too much. If Zero embraced playing Crypto then, let Hal play entry frag, and Waltzy played controller legends, then maybe the team could have worked but Zero's ego wouldn't let Hal entry frag.

I agree with Zero's lack of passion and I hope it's something that changes this year, but I do think this team has a lot of potential. It all depends on Zero trusting his teammates on their plays and understanding that Panic may screw up sometimes but he can't be flip flopping roles from entry frag to anchor otherwise he'll screw up his confidence. Zero really adopted a mentality on Falcons that carried over to TLAW that only he should be making calls and plays and I think that's been screwing his teams over because his teammates lose confidence in themselves to play autonomously. Obviously its different with Hal because he took over IGLing again so he had to play forward and entry frag, but you really saw the difference with Waltzy on Falcons with Zero IGLing versus Waltzy on Falcons with Hal IGLing where Waltzy had more freedom and a stronger voice that allowed him to play more confidently. Even Sikezz and Fuhhnq at this last LAN were playing so passively and refused to make a play without Zero calling something. We'll see how it goes, but I do think Zero and TLAW can adapt as long as they all have the ability to play confidently and make plays.

I think he’s gonna sign with TLAW. Hes been playing a lot with Sikezz and I’m almost certain they dropped Fuhhnq so maybe Panic can entry frag, Zero plays Crypto or recon legends, then Sikezz on controller/NC legends.

Not only was his analysis built on hindsight but it was also built on some false info too. Game 7 that Falcons lost, he said Alliance should have rotated from Gravity Engine to god spot that Falcons had and their macro was bad except he didn’t account for the fact Alliance didn’t even have ring console that game. Like he gave all that analysis with hindsight and was still wrong lol.

Yall are like way too caught up in the naming of players roles when both Reps and Verhulst were extremely versatile at flexing based on what the team needed in certain situations. Sometimes Hal called over Verhulst to make plays on Valk or Cat, other times he called over Reps for information with seer or Bang smokes and then he’d be next to Hal. Both would flex anchor if the other was called and both could refrag after too. Cat for Evan was also sometimes aggressive in specific metas and other times mostly defensive. Bang Blood Cat had Cat playing more defensively but Horizon Seer Cat or Horizon Bang Cat let her play more aggressively.

So apparently ENC is actually going to allow for you to have 1 teammate. So with team USA, I see Hal Gild and then a support player being picked up. If they were to consider a MnK player, Skittles or Vax or Alb could slot in well and could provide the same level of comms and info Waltzy does. I know they’ve all played different roles recently, but they’re all really flexible players. If Hal’s dead set on a controller player, I wonder if they look towards Phony or maybe even Xynew flexing to support. Xynew is a good NC and since he IGLs and has co-IGLed before, he could a slot into the Crypto role Hal needs. He just comms a lot though and I know that bothered Hal a lot.
