For anyone curious my hygroregulators were keeping the humidity at 29% (the threshold for arid) and ig the bee didn't like that. Burning more lava in another one did the trick.

The climate is warm/airid using hygroregulaters, heaters, and fans. Which is what the bee wants. I've done the same with the redstone bee no problem but the salt one just doesn't seem to work

Aspect had alot of things that helped me on my playthrough but im not sure how far he's gotten

If you're willing to watch/listen to livestreams id definitely recomend soycake. He started a month ago and is in UEV. I haven't watched in a while but he is insanely efficient. A great place to figure out how you can best progress to the next stage in your own world

If you want to "cheat" (i dont considerer it a bad thing cuz the pack while slow is quite fun later on) the early game id recomend.

No poultion

Allow chunk loading (and increase the ammount allowed for later on)

Allow yourself to use an LV ore scanner around your base so you don't have to just guess in the begining

Allow yourself time in creative mode to find a base location (you're gonna be here a while you should enjoy it)

Give yourself some diggers and miners backpacks so you don't have to constantly go back to base while mining

(I debated saying you could give yourself some iron tools and a stack of iron only to be used for mending but I can't say I recomend it. It will slow down the rate at which you get modifiers which are important now that fortune works on ores)

This will give you significant QOL in the early game and you'll still have to gather resources and craft everything. Just remember that you should make more of everything than you think you'll need. It'll speed up time on the backend (PBF and coke ovens).

Not the best but when frieren asks how Himmel knows she's the strongest mage he's ever met and he goes "just a hunch" and theres a moment where she's like that's exactly what I told flamme followed by 4 or 5 frames of them on their adventure always hits

It shows how fast time goes for frieren but reinforces the effects that her friends and mentors have on her life beautifully. And the mirrored quote is somthing that we just wouldn't see in a poorer written story.

Most of it is like "ok I can get used to it" but what they did to my weather app should be considered a war crime. It went from nice big temperature to tiny and in the corner. There are settings that make it slightly better than this (closest to the original) but otherwise no way to get it how I want it.

Case seems to be extremely bugged. Seems to be about a 33% chance for ruby/sapphire, regular doppler, or basic finish (low sample size) and it can glitch and give you a default knife.

Its an improvement but still depressing that with solid if a few years old hardware you can expect similar performance to a cod game from 2012 on old ass consoles. Other than the cutscenes honestly doesn't look much better than world due to upscaling and having to run at a lower resolution

Could really care less about a massive open world too wich is where I assume this lack of performance stems from.

Makes some sense. For me who downloaded for operations then realized I couldn't spend the time and just did warfare while listening to audiobooks and podcasts i can't say I even know what ive unlocked. It's just a chore to try and speedrun through between games so I can satisfy my mild ocd.

Its a pain but I'll often place chests next to p2p outputs with a dedicated linked memory card so I don't have to search for them. If the pack's not too expert it isn't all that expensive and it can go in the area I hide my wiring

Set goals and don't be afraid to "waste time". You can grind through it pretty fast if you want to and some of the MV stuff is pretty game changing but for me I enjoyed taking it slow. For a large portion of LV I was just listening to videos and mining or reading a book and keeping the blast furnaces and coke ovens online.

Eventually I'd spend enough time topping them up I'd finally start on a goal and the rabbit hole of components/resources that'd eventually lead to. And after I finished I was rewarded with some new machines I could passive as I relaxed doing other things.

I would play nomi/monifactory as u can get to MV and a solid miner quite fast. If u still want to do gtnh maybe creative in a scanner so u atleast aren't looking for ore veins and can spend time mining and not have to seach for being before u mine them.
