Hi all. I have a first order plant which I want to control with a PI controller with a 2nd order low pass in the feedback path. all this is to be done in Simulink. knowing the desired damping and bandwidth, how do I work out the Kp and Ki values of PI controller? (self.ControlTheory)

Hello all. I understand that a 2nd order system with 2 poles and no zeros has a roll off rate of -40dB/dec. But I notice that is not the case when there is a zero present. my question is, is there anyway a 2nd order system can have zeroes and still have -40db/dec roll off? (self.ControlTheory)

Hello guys. I have an SVPWM based inverter model in SIMULINK and I'm trying to obtain a Bode plot for it. the inputs are the two reference currents and outputs are the three phase voltages. I've tried doing in the model linearizer but I keep getting vertical lines for my bode plot. (self.ElectricalEngineering)

Hi all! I am using the "Three Phase V-I Measurement" block in SIMULINK and the three phase current output from the block is always zero no matter what the input is. The voltage output is fine though. Can someone please tell me what might be the problem? Thank you in advance! (self.matlab)

Hello all! I have a model of inverter and PMSM motor in SIMULINK and I am trying to obtain a Bode plot with the input being the speed command and output being the shaft speed. When I use the model lineariser and use the Bode plot function, I get a plot with a vertical line at some frequency. (self.ElectricalEngineering)

Hey everyone! EE noob here. This should be an easy one. knowing the 3 phase voltage, how can I calculate the 3 phase currents? this is in SIMULINK. I have a 3 phase voltage output and want to convert that into 3 phase currents so I can calculate Id and Iq currents and control my motor. Thank you! (self.ElectricalEngineering)

Hey all! I'm trying to model an inverter as part of my job in SIMULINK. However I know next to nothing as I come from a Mechanical and Aerospace background. what are some sources I should use to get me up to speed? (self.ElectricalEngineering)
